Escape to Southbay by the Gulf 37, a peaceful 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome nestled in a charming Destin community with direct private beach access just a short stroll away. This thoughtfully appointed retreat sleeps up to 6 guests with a King bed, Queen bed, two Twin beds, and a sleeper sofa, perfect for families or small groups.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and plenty of space for cooking, dining, and relaxing together. Step outside to your private patio, ideal for your morning coffee or winding down after a day at the beach. Guests can also enjoy two sparkling community pools (one seasonally heated), kiddie pools, tennis courts, and walkable grounds teeming with local wildlife. With complimentary beach service provided from March through October, your beach days are fully covered.

We enjoyed being close to the beach with access to a pool. The gazebo was so cool, and the kids loved the tennis courts.

Women’s conference girls trip

This is our second year staying at this property and we absolutely love it. Perfect location to everything and very clean and nice. Will be booking again.

Destin, husbands annual fishing trip

Lovely area. Nice condo. Rooms 2& 3 were very small. Traffic was a nightmare getting in and out. Ants were a major problem in the kitchen, upstairs bathroom and in the bedroom with twin beds. Reported the ant problem but never received an answer.

It was ok

First off this condo is not beach front. 10-15 minute walk to beach. There were ants in upstairs bathroom. Centipedes all over downstairs floor. Master bedroom floor had something spilled coming from under bed so clearly not mopped. Air doesn’t cool good. The condo is nice and comfy stay other than what’s listed above

Vaca with ants

We’ve stayed at this location before but not this particular unit. It needs an upgrade! That’s not what bothered me though. We had ants in our condo basically the whole time. We had to throw out a full box of donuts and other items that were covered in ants. We also had ants in the bathrooms. I believe it took 2 days to get someone out there. No our knowledge no one ever came inside to spray, only outside. I was told I could buy some spray and do the inside.

Close to the beach

I would definitely stay again! You have access to a private beach with gate codes. Very family friendly!! Very safe environment!!

Family Vacation

This place was perfect for our little get away. We had 4 teenagers with us and they each had a bed. The pool and beach access were amazing. The outside seating area was perfect for lunch after the pool. We will definitely be back.

Restful and Beautiful

We enjoyed being so close to the ocean and having beach service included. We loved being able to cook together and play board games. The house was big enough for five adults!

Family stay

The place was clean, some items not available as stated, location was further from beach then expected, it lacked your general spices, coffee, etc., and for short stays, that's a lot to purchase, forces you to eat out more. It was a good location to dining and other shopping.

Girls trip 2024

We were 4 ladies that come to Destin for a women’s conference. We found this locations fun loved it online. When we got there everything was exactly as it showed in pictures and what it said. We loved the location and the proximity to the beach. It was very clean and very easy to get ahold of anyone for questions. We will def be rebooking this property again!

Good but not amazing

This was a good place to stay. We could walk to the beach and that was a plus. However, it was not evident when booking that we we booking a townhome-style building.

Destin Stay

Overall it was a nice stay. A negative for us was that the beds were uncomfortable and I wish there was a TV in the master bedroom. It was slightly outdated but we didn’t go to Destin to sit inside :) the walk to the beach was not bad but further than I thought. Overall I gave it a 4/5 because some of what I am saying is my perspective and others may disagree.

The couch was dirty, ants in the master bedroom was really bad and their were roaches, the air didn’t work really upstairs

Great location but has some flaws

Great location to the beach and plenty of space for your whole family. The number one issue we had was, the beds were awful. So uncomfortable, almost seemed broken in the middle of multiple beds to where you were sleeping on a hill or on the lump that made the hills. If they improve the beds...it would be awesome.

Home away from home

Great stay. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pans, utensils. Bedrooms/ bathrooms were very clean and had everything stocked. Pool was nice and very clean. All utilities worked great. All questions we had were answered quickly.

Comfortable

Property was very nice. Only issues was upstairs bathroom was face bowl sink wouldn't drain, and queen bedrooms doorknobs had trouble opening. Other than that it was perfect.
