Beautiful ground level studio #116 w/kitchenette at Islander on the Beach. Just steps away from the beach! Great, quiet location in the resort complex and has an ocean view from the lanai. Islander on the Beach, Hawaiian Style Resort, is set on six acres of oceanfront property with lush landscaping, swimming pool, sandy beach, and more... walking distance to shopping/eateries. Its central location provides easy access to a number of sights throughout Kauai. NO RESORT FEE/FREE PARKING.

Super stay!

We enjoyed our stay a lot! Perfect located, nice area, beautiful plants around, a lot of parking possibilities. The kitchen has everything you Need!We would come back every time!

Spotless studio, just as described. You have a view of the ocean from the patio and it’s just a short walk to the oceanfront path where there are plenty of lounge chairs right by the water! Bed was comfortable, A/C worked great, and it is a quiet complex. Didn’t use it but the pool and hot tub looked very nice! Sometimes took a little hunting to find a parking spot late in the evening but I always found one. I would absolutely stay here again. Great central location for the whole island.

Amazing customer service and location

Great experience, Doug was very communicative and accommodating. Great home base to explore the island. Walk right out the patio door to the beach.

Clean unit in picturesque location. Several eating and shopping places within walking distance. First floor unit.

Perfectly positioned vacation rental

This rental is the perfect location for exploring the entire island of Kauai. Rental had everything we needed to have a great stay. Host will leave you detailed instructions and is easily available for any questions. Resort itself is beautiful. Right on the beach, the monk seals frequently were seen resting on the beach here. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing location

Cute little room right on the beach! Didn’t realize it was basically a hotel room when we booked it but it turned out fine. Location was great and very convenient to all the things we wanted to see and do on the Island!!

Great place! Clean and comfortable. Trouble checking in but it was more on the VRBO website not being able to load messages, the host helped us immediately.

Islander on the beach

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in this unit which provided a good middle of Kauai spot to cleanup and sleep between exploring each day. Very convenient to be steps from Coconut Marketplace shopping. Pool area was nice. Our only 2 minor concerns were the weakly powered A/C unit that might have caused some mustiness in the unit and also had to go offsite to do Laundry.

Beautiful location

I loved that I could walk out and be right on the beach or the walking/bike trail along the ocean. The resort has beautiful grounds and a friendly pool bar that overlooks the ocean. There’s also a coffee shop and a few small eateries right next door as well as coconut marketplace (Farmers market Tue/Thurs and hula show Fri ). The lanai has an ocean view, and I appreciated that it was partially shaded. The unit is on the first floor so you can roll right into your room. I stayed here a month and had no issues.

Great location on the island

This is a very cute and accessible property. I booked the location due to the central location on the island and access to the Coconut Marketplace (we train Jiu Jitsu and love the gym there!). The room was clean and supplied with basic start up necessities. It was also very nice that they had beach chairs and an umbrella available for our day up at the beach! The property outside is well maintained and right on the ocean, it’s also quiet and the staff is friendly. The check in/out instructions were easy and clearly communicated. Owners have a very simple but detailed information sheet for you in the unit. The only complaint from my partner was the AC unit didn’t cool down the unit to his preference of “ice chest” (I was ok with this since I don’t want to freeze at night! I was comfortable). I would book again! Thank you!

We love people, and love sharing our beautiful condo with others. Married for 46 years now, we both love the natural beauty, culture and OHANA of Kauai. Our family goes back generations on the islands, and so we have very deep roots here. We love taking walks, listening to our local musicians, hikes, watching the sun rise and set, roosters crowing, being in the warm waters and of course indulging in the local food. It's all so amazing here on the Garden Island!

We have stayed all over Kauai through the years. When we decided to buy a piece of paradise...there was no question...Kapaa felt like home to us. The Islander on the Beach has that Hawaiiana magic to it, and its location just can't be beat on the Eastside. We love the 'local' vibe of the Eastside, and we think you will too!

We are more than willing to provide our guest with 'insider' tips on where to walk, hike and of course, EAT! If you want to know where the best place to indulge in Malasadas (Portuguese donuts) is, then just ask. Best saimin on the island...no problem! Looking for great plate lunch? For sure, we can point you in the right direction. Or if you want some of our favorite places to watch the sunset while sipping one of the island's best drinks...we can help you out with that too!
