OM GREYSTONE LODGE




Greystone Lodge ligger ved foden af Blackcomb Mountain ved siden af den nye 10 person Blackcomb Gondola og Magic Chair elevatorer. Et boutique-stillejlighedskompleks med kun 50 enheder gør Greystone Lodge til en af de mindre ferieboliger i Benchlands-kvarteret i Whistler. De fyrre fods vinduer på de hævede enheder giver Greystone Lodge sit fantastiske udseende for forbipasserende og stor udsigt over bjergene for gæster, der besætter dem.




GREYSTONE LODGE-faciliteter



Til afslapning og bekvemmelighed gæster Greystone Lodge vil finde en opdateret udendørs opvarmet pool og nyt stort boblebad sammen med en indendørs boblebad, brusere og fælles område toiletter. Der er en møntbetjent vaskeri i bygningen samt en salgsautomat til hurtige snacks. Unikt til Greystone Lodge er fri underjordisk parkering, noget svært at komme til i Whistler. Gæster bør advares om, at underjordisk parkering har en samlet højdegrænse på 6 fod 8 tommer. Store SUV'er med skiholdere passer muligvis ikke i undergrunden, og der er meget begrænset parkeringsplads ved højden på lodgen.



Lokale forhold




Inden for en meget kort gåafstand finder gæsterne skiskole, ski og snowboard huslejer, cykeludlejning, restauranter, en vinbutik, en lille købmand og forskellige butikker. Promenaden til Whistler Village tager ca. 7-10 minutter til fods, men der kommer en bybuss hvert 7. minut om vinteren og hvert 15. minut i løbet af de andre måneder. Busstoppestedet ligger kun en kort gåtur fra lobbyen.



ANDRE AKTIVITETER



Golfspillere kan nyde Chateau Whistler Golf Course, en af de fineste golfbaner i British Columbia, kun en kort gåtur fra hytten. Lost Lake Park ligger kun få minutter fra Greystone Lodge, hvor gæsterne finder gode vandreture, picnic, svømning og fiskeri i sommermånederne og nordiske skiløjper om vinteren. Basen af Blackcomb bliver til et børneparadis om sommeren, når det omdannes til en kæmpe legeplads med ridning, en klatrevæg, forskellige rides og forlystelser, minigolf og meget mere. Desuden kan besøgende på sommeren weekender hyppige Whistler Farmer's Market finde lokalt fremstillede kunsthåndværk og madvarer, der også ligger i bunden af Blackcomb Mountain.

Great property. Slept 8 of us perfectly. Perfect spot just outside the village. I would definitely stay here again!

Ski trip

Great location. Pictures make it seem bigger than actual size. With that said very accurate listing. Easy ski in and out.

Nice enough

It is a ski chalet and we were there in the summer. So a bit hot -no AC. A new coffee maker is a good idea. We were there during Crankworx, so bike culture overruns the village. A bit extreme for us.

Great Slope-side location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Greystone Lodge is ideally situated adjacent to the Wizard Chair on Blackcomb. The property is a bit older, but it has been well maintained and the management company was responsive and helpful. Check in and out were a breeze, the unit was extremely clean and we didn't have any issues during our stay. The unit is not as updated as some of the others that our party stayed in, but it is laid out well with the loft adding a third bedroom.

Perfect Location, Very suitable for our large group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 9 of us flew in over MLK weekend and this place was perfect for us. Ski in/ Ski Out, Hot tub and pool, clean and well furnished condo and the beds were very comfortable. Clint was very accommodating and provided us with an extra cot at no charge. The Lodge is close to everything and I highly recommend it. We would stay here again.

Great spot!

Thank you for your feedback. We have replaced the recycle bin and confirmed that the phone is working. The electrical panel is located on the wall by the fridge but we were not informed of the issue with the microwave. We have also reviewed the inventory and replaced missing items. Excellent location at Greystone Lodge with helpful friendly staff

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Enjoyed comfortable rooms 404 and 403, adjoining, with well stocked kitchen and comfortable clean bedrooms. The ski-in and ski-out access added to the experience and access to the village was the same easy walk or the bus was across the road from the front door. The staff were all helpful and friendly and attended to our initial queries quickly.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the experience of Whistler but was v very disappointed with the condo considering the amount of money that I paid for the week. The pictures certainly showed a better picture than the actual premises. The condo was smaller than expected and overall it could certainly do with being updated. The cabinets are very old and showed signs of falling apart. One positive comment I can make is that I never heard a noise from either side. Would not recommend this property.

We are glad you were happy with our service, however, we are sorry that you did not find the condo to your satisfaction. We endevour to photograph every condo the same way. This allows possible guests to compare each condo to one another as each one is individually owned and decorated as per the Owner's wishes. The actual size of the condo is listed with the information and if a guest calls we can verify the size of each condo. This one is approximately 1100sqft. and easily sleeps 8. SKi in ski out, and just a short (Free) bus ride to the village. Room even came with Terry Towel bath robes which made using the Hot Tub in the winter nice and comfy for the walk to and from. Would stay again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hot water tanks too small, after two showers, have to wait atleast an hour or two for next person to shower. Leaky taps and unit gets very hot at night due to hot water tanks in the rooms.
