This property met a very specific need we had - access to Sky Harbor car rental garage so we could drop a car off at 5AM to make an early flight, while accommodating two couples. The combination of price, space and location was excellent - much better than getting two rooms at an airport hotel.
Unfortunately the location was something of a drawback if you wanted to access decent restaurants or entertainment. There was a lot of industrial shabbiness to the neighborhoods between both Phoenix and Tempe and the restaurants were pretty much all fast food joints. It's 25 minutes in non-rush hour to get to downtown Tempe, so this would not be a great location for someone looking for "cool vibes". As with almost anywhere in the Valley there are highways and arterials nearby so you can travel easily enough but it would probably be a drag to spend a week doing that.
The immediate location of the house is a bit rundown and we were awakened by the sounds of nearby dogs in distress that continued through much of the night.
The house itself had plenty of room, the beds were new and comfortable and everything seemed to work well. The backyard was not really usable despite having a grill due to being overrun with weeds.
Host was responsive and the house was well stocked with towels, soap, etc., so as mentioned above, if you're looking at an airport hotel, choose this place instead - you'll save money, have more space and the surroundings will be on par with any airport hotel.
