The penthouse condo at Escapes! was wonderful. We were more than pleased with the views from the balconies, the large dining and seating areas, and the many sleeping arrangement options. Proximity to the beach was a definite plus as were the indoor and outdoor pools. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return again!

Lovely view of the ocean which is my top priority! Large balcony that my entire group could enjoy all together. We did not have any children with us but it’s the perfect place for large families with many sleeping areas. We will be back!!!

We enjoyed our stay at 1801 escapes! It was a perfect amount of space for our family of 15! It could have a few more bigger pots to cook with and maybe some smaller forks and spoons but overall was perfect! They were very efficient in making sure ac worked perfect for us upon arrival. Beach view was awesome!

The actual condo blows the pictures out of the water! It is beautiful and larger than expected. We were a group of 11 (5 adults, 6 kids) and we had more than enough space. It would have been a little tricky fitting another family due to the set up of the bedrooms but we definitely could have done it with a little creativity. The primary bedroom is so beautiful and has an amazing view. We watched the dolphins from the balcony each morning with our coffee. Each bedroom had special touches and there was a tv in every room making in nice that the kids didn’t fight over what they were watching. The walk to the beach is easy with an indoor and outdoor pool on the way that the kids chose to go to sometimes. It was always clean and never over crowded. Our only complaint was the jellyfish and I’m pretty sure the condo owners couldn’t fix that issue so it was the perfect stay!

20th time visiting orange beach. First time ever in this facility. Usually Phoenix west or west2 turquoise place, etc. this exceeded those with the smaller outdoor spaces. Our kids are older so we dont really come for the pool. So very glad we foun it.We will return for sure, Unit was just as described, Beautiful. We had a great time during our stay.

Can’t say enough about this property!

The room was even bigger in person than it looks in the pictures. The unit was very clean and well stocked. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out. We hated to leave but will definitely be back.

Awesome

We have been going to the beach in Alabama for as long as I can remember, this was by far the best experience we have had. We had 20 people from age 6 to 72 and everyone had a great time. We will be going back.

Spectacular!!

We had 3 families celebrating our 3 sons graduating. We had plenty of room and the condo is absolutely gorgeous. The views on the multiple decks are breathtaking! The decor and furnishings are beautiful and there is plenty of space to move around and hang out. You will not be disappointed.

Impressive

From the beginning to the end this felt like home. The videos and photos do not do it justice. Most impressive penthouse we have stayed in so far. The facilities were all clean and well maintained in the entire building. This is our first time to Orange Beach and it didn’t disappoint

Beautiful Unit!

I was so impressed with this unit. The pictures do not do justice! Very high ceilings, walk in closets, amazing views, quiet/private unit, and beautiful decorations. The decorations are not kid friendly and was challenging since we had a few young children with us (I broke something trying to move it to another location so a child wouldn't break it - opps!)

Beautiful property

This condo was beautiful. The only issues or suggestions we have is that the ice machines did not work very well. The dryer did not work very well either. When we got there, there was no Keurig as we were told there was. With only one call made a brand new one appeared. So easy to work with!

Beach House in the Sky

Better than I expected. Loved the clean white sheets, linens. The views, balconies (4) are top notch Loved all the various sitting areas Beautiful and stays looking beautiful Walk in closets everywhere for suitcases/clothes/gear Only minus would be not enough glass wine glasses, kitchen gear was basic. We are a family of chefs, brought our list only wine. So not a deal breaker. I might bring my knives next time. We LOVED our time here. All adults. Plenty of space for little people (kids) .

Lots of small irritations

One closet unfinished. Multiple fan vents in bathroom were making noises (metal clanking). Master bath outlets not working. Ice machine making very loud noises and not working. Other than that great views.

Our own paradise

This was a beautiful 2 story condo on the top floors of the building. Decor was breathtaking. It was truly magical waking up each day and having the space to spread out on one of the many patios. We were one of the first people to rent from this newly purchased unit. I would hope that in the future there will be a welcome folder with details about parking, garbage, key pad entry for the door and the building. Be sure to get both before you park. These were minor distractions we were able to figure out but would have been frustrating if the office was closed when we arrived. Again, we were so impressed with the unit, learning the tricks was worth it. If you are able to spend time around Orange Beach and can make this your home during your stay, grab it! You will not be disappointed.

Timing is everything!!

So many things just came together for me planning our yearly family vacation. The discount for the penthouse condo, the opening of the Naval Air Station Museum, the limited availability of tickets that I got for the Lighthouse to watch the Blue Angels practice, the weather and the weather and the weather!!! The condo was amazing on the top floor of the building, the elevator was easy to get any time of day, the availability of beach toys in the closet, the indoor WARM pool, the outside pool, the splash pad, the boardwalk to the beach. The fish restaurant across the street that cooked our caught fish for us. The parking garage was safe and covered. The carts to help us take our luggage up to the room. The views of the whole beach from the balcony. The roomy comfortable beds and the decorating of the condo was beautiful. The dedicated ice machine in the room, 2 refrigerators, lots of cooking pans/utensils/wine glasses, water tasted good. The showers were great, no lack of warm water. I just do not have enough room here to go on and on. You will have the best time as we did. 2 grandparents, 4 kids, 3 son in laws, 5 Gkids all approve.
