We're here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We are only a phone call or message away. You will be able to self-check in upon arrival. We are happy to assist via phone or through the booking site before, during, or after your stay.
If you have any concerns, our customer support team is available 24/7/365. If there is any kind of mechanical issue with the home, please reach out to us first barring any kind of emergency. We will do our best to respond promptly and resolve any issues you may have.
Once a week, one of our team members will stop by the property to put out the trash cans, replenish our supplies, and/or restock sheets and towels. They will NOT enter the home. They have access to the garage or shed with a code. This day may or may not fall during your stay.

During your stay, you will have full access to the house, except for one of the garages, which may occasionally be used by the cleaning staff or the owners. Rest assured that your privacy will not be disturbed in any way during your stay.

Please be advised that this home is located on a rural road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!
During Summer - It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.
During Winter - Winter snowfall can vary during the winter months. For guests staying from late October through late April, AN AWD OR 4WD VEHICLE IS REQUIRED. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.
During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck, and on walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.

With space for up to 13 guests, the home includes four bedrooms and eight beds. Two king bedrooms share a full bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs, a loft suite features a king bed, vaulted ceilings, and a private ensuite bath, 4 single beds and one queen bed, a third bath just across the hall.
Indoor living
Inside, warmth meets rustic character. Floor-to-ceiling windows fill the cabin with soft winter light, while knotty pine walls and a freestanding wood-burning fireplace set a cozy tone. The living area offers a plush sectional and 65-inch smart TV for relaxed movie nights. The sunroom provides a bright space for reading or morning reflection as snow drifts outside.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen features a gas stove, espresso machine, refrigerator, dishwasher, and everything you need for home-cooked meals. Gather around the six-seat dining table or the five-seat breakfast bar for hearty dinners after a day on the trails.
Outdoor living
Step onto the expansive deck and breathe in crisp mountain air as snow blankets the evergreens. While the BBQ grill is seasonal (May-October), the panoramic views remain year-round. Winter evenings invite stargazing under a clear alpine sky before heading indoors to warm by the fire.

Enjoy Starlink Wi-Fi, a dedicated workspace, and pet-friendly accommodations. Essentials such as towels, linens, bathroom amenities, and cleaning products are provided, along with a washer and dryer for convenience. Safety features include exterior security cameras, smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and a first aid kit.
Neighborhood
Located just nine minutes from Fairplay and about forty minutes from Breckenridge, the cabin offers easy access to skiing, snowshoeing, and scenic hikes through National Forest trails. Return home to unwind fireside and watch the stars rise over the Rockies - the perfect winter retreat in Colorado’s high country.
For guests staying from late October through late April, we recommend driving an AWD or 4WD vehicle. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. Our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.
