Weeklong family beach stay

The condo was clean with modern furniture and kitchen appliances, and 3 TVs. It was conveniently located with oceanfront view. The whole family enjoyed the Bluewater Resort pools and spa/hot tub, which were not crowded. Despite a few minor inconveniences (parking a bit far, balcony door not closing/opening properly due to rail damage), it was a very pleasant stay for the whole family.

Beach Getaway

We really enjoyed and loved staying at this property in Myrtle Beach! Everything was very accessible. The view of the beach was beautiful! We really enjoyed waking up and watching the ocean. The amenities were spectacular. We loved the pool, bars, covered parking, and restaurant that were accessible to us. The only complaint we had is the mattresses were not the best quality. If you are able to bring a mattress topper, I would.

Wonderful view. The only reason we have any complaints is the listing was not clear on there being no indoor pool working- which our baby is blind and can not be in the sun. So that was a major inconvenience. The one bed was like hard as a rock we took the couch mattress and put on top of bed to make it bearable but the other 2 were great. Could have been cleaner ( floor needs a good mop, rugs needs cleaned, couch pillows were stained .. I even washed them and could not get them clean) overall great value and Julie was quickly responding to any and all questions or concerns and did her best to accommodate for the misunderstanding of the pool. Would def stay here again.

Blue ocean resort

The property was clean. Check in is difficult since the key to get in the building is in your room. Had to get another guest to let me in the building. The balcony door was hard to open and close. Otherwise overall good place yo stay

Golf Trip

Comfortable condo in between rounds of golf. Bar, pizza and convenience store located on ground level was really nice.

Girls Trip

This was our annual girls trip. We arrived at our check-in time and the door code was in the email just like they said. The condo was spacious. Had plenty of room for us for girls. Plenty of bathroom space could use some additional comfortable seating in the living area. The view of the beach was amazing. The only thing that we were missing was the dust pan so we could clean up the sand from the beach. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope we can stay again. We give this a five star rating

Breathtaking oceanfront condo

It is a beautiful condo on the ocean. I would just say that the area is sketchy. Homeless and drug users along the strip there make you feel unsafe. A lot of closed down hotels and so as long as you stay in the building or go to tourist attractions you’re ok.

Spectacular view

The view from the condo and balcony are amazing! The resort is really nice with lots of amenities. Could have been cleaner and better stocked but all in all it was great! One other issue I thought the host requested too much PII information which I refused and they said I didn't have to provide it.

Bluewater resort condo

Good location in an older building on the beach. Kitchen recently remodeled but the furniture could use replacement. Stains on the couch, no lamps near the beds and only a light switch by the door of both bedrooms. Had to go buy coffee filters, salt/pepper etc our first morning. Indoor pool and spa are across the street from this unit’s building.

Beautiful views and great amenities…

Overall fantastic! Plenty to do right on site and could not have beat the views. Only reason I am not giving this place more stars is the cleanliness overall and the not so comfortable furniture. We had no extra bedding that was clean and ended up purchasing our own. The couch and beds were not comfortable after a long day but the views and amenities made up for it since we were rarely in the room. Would stay at this location again if the furniture and cleanliness was updated.

Great view!

We loved our stay in this Condo. Such a beautiful view with easy access to attractions. The ONLY downfall was not being provided with a white keycard to access the parking garage. All communication with the property managers said they had been told we no longer needed the keycard. That was true for some but not all property access. There was other parking options but those were filled up once or twice and we had to drive around to find a parking. It all worked out and we didn’t have to pay for parking but it was inconvenient . Others than that I can say it was a wonderful location and experience!!

Great location with very poor communication and dirty

The condo complex was very nice, but our individual condo was in disrepair. There was deep, set in grime on everything in the common areas. The cleaning company came back to clean the hair out of the bathrooms, and wipe down sticky tables. The door to the patio had to be lifted with a lot of muscle to open all of the way. We never received a keycard that worked, even though we were told it was coming several times. To check in, we had to send a copy of my id, license, signature, and a pic of me holding my credit card and license. They wouldn’t even send us our entry code until the exact minute of our check in time. Owners and security both told us that the rental company, Big Fish Rentals, has a bad reputation. It was really hard to relax in such a dirty environment.

Fabulous family trip!

Overall our stay was great and the unit was as advertised. The decor is beautiful and accurately reflects the photos. The location is lovely, directly on the beach and central to all amenities. (Grocery and liquor stores, souvenir shops, and restaurants.) The balcony and view was outstanding but the unit could use a few additional outdoor chairs as there were only 2 and there were 4 people in our party. (No biggie though!) The instructions ahead of time made our arrival seamless and smooth and allowed for us to easily unload at the front door and find the parking lot across the street. We didn’t go to the restaurant attached to the building but it’s convenient to have it there should you want to try it or swing by for a drink and nightly entertainment. In the week that we were there they had a karaoke night and a trivia night! We are a group of 4 adults that travel/rent VRBO properties frequently. The check-out instructions outline in all capitals/bold print that the cleaners charge extra for dirty dishes so we were mindful about making sure that things were left in perfect condition. It would be helpful to have a few basic cleaning supplies as well as a scrubbing pad to help clean dishes and to leave the kitchen in good condition. I would also recommend bringing your own dishwasher pods as there are only 2 provided. As outlined in previous reviews, some of the blinds in the bedrooms are broken. This was problematic in the front bedroom facing the common walkway as people could see directly in the bedroom. We ended up using a blanket to cover the window for the week. We had a fantastic trip and would definitely recommend this unit!

The positive is this trip was the host who was extremely timely/helpful. I don’t usually leave had reviews but this place was pretty awful. The pictures of this condo are very deceiving. The living area is very pretty and the view is great! However, 4 of the barstools/chairs were not safe to sit in (extremely loose or make shift pad in the seat with no support). The drier was clogged with lint that we had to repair it ourselves. The walls are very beat up and the beds are less than desired. It appears that this was a very old condo that was slightly updated. Additionally, the room was not clean when we arrived. There were crumbs in the drawers, lint/sand on the floor and hair in our shower. The outside of the building was less than appealing. Note there are external doors.. and would very likely not be a safe location in the summer months. Lastly, we were woken up regularly through the night with the extremely loud furnace and a dumpster exchange at 5 am. But if you come in the summer you don’t have to worry about that!!
