Perfect for our family trip while attending a festival at Alpine Valley.Quiet neighborhood and pretty views of the lake from the large wrap around deck. We only spent 3 days and most of it we were gone so we didn't spend much time in the house. We would have used the fire pit & grill on the deck if we had time. Have to say, for being an older lake house- it was one of the best stocked Vrbo we've ever stayed at. We always travel with our large family and most places that provide sleeping space for a larger amount never have enough utensils, serving dishes, or cookware. Not only was there plenty-it was also in great condition and of good quality. Room enough for our family of 6. Clean and newer appliances. Minor cosmetic flaws, but the cleanliness and ample supplies made it easy to overlook some paint chips and older furnishings.Pet friendly- although we chose to leave our dogs at home this trip, it would have been perfect for them. Fenced in yard, dog bed, dog toys and even dog dishes! Cool coffee maker, we wish we had known it was there and we would have bought the pods that go with it, but the supplied coffee for the regular brewer was nice on our first morning.Huge plus for me-the best bath towels I've ever had. Thick & large. We liked them so much, we contacted the owner & asked where they came from,so we can purchase for our own house! Easy in,easy out and great communication with owner and rental process was smooth.Left my earrings and owner was kind enough to send to me.
