Nice Area

The property was in, what I think, an easily accessible area with beautiful beaches. The only downside was the units were a little old and showing their age. A fresh overhaul I believe is needed.

We love Long Beach

The property is a bit outdated and does need painting but the property is awesome and convenient. We would definitely rent from Southern Vacation Rentals again. Super easy and great communication.

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo! The location was just right, within walking distance of many stores and restaurants but not in the the midst of a bunch of craziness. The beach area was clean and comfortable, not crowded at all. The condo was just as described, clean and cozy with all the amenities and items you need. We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend staying here for any one who would want a perfect location on the beach for fun, sun and relaxing!

Unsatisfied Renter

It was a challenge communicating with Southern Vacation Rentals since all communications is through individuals in Jamaica. They in turn text and email locals. I rented a condo in Panama City, FL. I only rented for two days but was thoroughly deceived by the pictures on the website. I hoped to suprise my wife on our anniversary. However, upon arriving, the front door was covered in dirt; front door frame was damaged as if some had tried to forcefully enter, rust in the freezer, stove dirty, kitchen flooring dirty and needed caulking around the base, couch and rocker in the living room area severely stained, white dinette set filthy, bathtub dirty, bathroom leaking and not draining, missing second parking pass, resort arm bands filthy as if they were from the previous renter, balcony overlooking the ocean filthy (balcony furniture and flooring need a thorough cleaning), and there is what appear to be mold on the balcony ceiling. I have been still fighting for them to return my money above the 1/3 of my original payment they are trying to settle with. All communication is going through Jamaica and the locals in Destin, FL refuse to call or email. I started my complaints within 10 minutes of arriving and have continued a week later. Very sad and poor customer appreciation and service.
