The open floor plan living and dining rooms features floor-to-ceiling windows, french doors, and a bay window. Enjoy the 55" 4K UHD TV with streaming apps in front of the gas fireplace in the living room. On the lower level, there is a master suite with a new (2023) 8" memory king bed and futon couch that converts to a single bed (IKEA Balkarp measures 39"Wx67"L in the bed position) with an en suite bathroom, including a jacuzzi bathtub and heated marble floors. The adjacent second bedroom, with an 8" Casper queen bed, also has an en suite bathroom with a charming clawfoot tub. There is a third small bedroom with a full size futon bed, plenty of storage and a half bathroom. On the upper level, a second master suite with an 8" memory queen bed features lovely views of the bay, as well as an en suite bathroom. Adjacent to this bedroom is the loft space, with a sitting area. The loft can fit a single futon bed and a twin air mattress as needed (per request), for a total of 10 guests in the home. Travel crib available upon request.
High speed wifi is up to 1 Gb/s.
The extra large gourmet kitchen is well equipped with a microwave, Keurig coffee maker, and blender. The kitchen features a large Thermador refrigerator, 2 extra drawer refrigerators, double convection oven, dishwasher, pot filler at the 5 burner stove, 2 sinks, filtered drinking water, lots of storage, and a dining table that wraps around the island counter. Guests are welcome to organic coffee and a selection of teas.
In the connected garage, there is a fourth full bathroom with a shower stall, and washer and dryer.
Enjoy the 1/4 acre grounds, including an extra large deck in the front: Soak in the sun reading a book or napping on the 2 person hammock, or dine outside under the stars. The property has many mature fruit trees, so depending on when you are staying, you are welcome to harvest plums, pears, cherries, figs, passionfruit, lemons, apricots, oranges, and mandarins. There are plenty of quiet spots to sit in the yard around the home, including a very private patio in the back.
There is a tiny home on the side of the house. It is a separate accommodation, and not included with this listing. This is the host residence. The shared spaces would be: Driveway, front yard, front deck, and washer & dryer in the full bathroom in the garage (separate entrance). I will access the garage as needed.
Parking: Very large driveway can accommodate 3 cars. It is a steep and long driveway, so 2 more cars can fit on the incline (blocking the ones on top). We are on a cul de sac, so there is plenty of street parking on our street and in the neighborhood. Please do not block any neighbor's driveways. There is a convenient outdoor 220V outlet to plug in your EV charger (request required). The garage is currently unavailable for use for storage or cars.
For families with young children looking to stay here: There are a couple of kid-friendly features built into the home, including toddler toilet seats in the 3 en suite bathrooms, and the kitchen table is high chair-friendly. The house is not currently toddler proof. High chair and crib can be made available.
I am currently not accepting pets on the property. We have a service animal in training, so I am pretty versed on the laws regarding the need for one. If your support animal is a cat, please consider another listing as I am very allergic to cats.
