Welcome to our beautiful vacation rental cabins in Croydon, NH, where you can experience the best of both worlds - the tranquility of nature and the convenience of modern amenities. Our two cozy cabins, the Honeymoon Cabin and the Little Cabin Retreat, can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The cabins are situated next to each other and are ready for you, your friends, and family to enjoy. With easy water access to the beautiful Rocky Bound Pond, the cabins offer a variety of year-round activities for outdoor enthusiasts, where you can swim, ice fish and kayak and it's only 90 minutes from Boston!
The cabins are conveniently located just minutes from YMCA Camp Coniston, 20 minutes away from Sunapee and 30 minutes from Dartmouth College, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts with nearby hiking and skiing. Hike and ski the trails at Mount Sunapee, swim and paddle in the pond, or explore the local area.
HONEYMOON CABIN
The cabin features two bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of natural light. The master bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom/sleeping loft sleeps 6 and features a queen bed, 2 twin beds and a futon. The living room is the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the great outdoors. The room features a comfortable sofa, with a Wi-Fi Smart TV and DVD player, perfect for streaming your favorite shows or movies. The full kitchen with granite counters is fully equipped, so you can cook up a storm or just make a cup of tea. The dining table seats six and is the perfect spot for family meals. However, please note that guests are required to bring their own bottled water for consumption. The cabin is equipped with a water dispenser and can accommodate a 4 or 5 gallon water jug, which can be purchased at local grocery stores. The bathroom is modern and clean, featuring a walk-in shower and all the necessary amenities, as well as a washing machine and dryer for your convenience. One of the standout features of the cabin is its vaulted post and beam ceilings, adding to the cabin's rustic atmosphere and giving a sense of grandeur.
The cabin has a large deck that is perfect for entertaining. The deck features a gas grill and outdoor seating, making it the perfect spot for a summer barbecue. The deck also offers beautiful views of the pond, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.
For your comfort, the Cabin is equipped with heat which is available October through April.
LITTLE CABIN RETREAT
The cabin features 2 bedrooms, with the master bedroom featuring a comfortable king bed, and the second bedroom featuring two twin beds, comfortably sleeping 4 guests. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi during their stay, and in the living room there is a Wi-Fi Smart TV and DVD player, perfect for streaming your favorite shows or movies after a day out on the water or skiing. The full kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook up a storm or just make a cup of tea. The dining table seats four and is the perfect spot for family meals. However, please note that guests are required to bring their own bottled water for consumption. The cabin is equipped with a water dispenser and can accommodate a 4 or 5 gallon water jug, which can be purchased at local grocery stores. You'll also find a bathroom with a walk-in shower, as well as a washing machine with a drying rack for your convenience.
The charcoal grill is perfect for cooking a delicious meal and enjoying it on the back deck's sitting area under a screened in canopy with views of the pond. The large deck is perfect for entertaining, and also offers beautiful views of the pond, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The cabin is dog-friendly, and features a fenced-in yard for your furry friends to enjoy. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a swim in the pond or a hike in the nearby Mount Sunapee or Grantham Mountain.

LITTLE CABIN RETREAT DOG POLICY
The Little Cabin Retreat is dog-friendly. We invite a maximum of two (2) well-behaved dogs to accompany you during your stay. Dogs must be leashed on and off property. New Hampshire has a leash law.
Please leave pups that scratch, chew, or bark excessively at home. Dogs eligible to stay at our cabin must have no bite history. Certain breeds may not be accepted. Dogs must be crated when left alone in the tiny cabin. We ask that dogs be well-groomed and that owner’s bring a blanket or bed, so that the dog doesn’t use the cabin bedding or furniture.
Please contact us at the time of booking to add a dog to the reservation. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $125 per dog. This fee is not included in the nightly rate and must be paid at time of booking. A Health Certification must be provided to Pond Life Vacation Rentals prior to your arrival; you must also have personal liability insurance in place (e.g., renters or homeowners).
A $50 clean up charge will be applied if our cleaners have to remove any feces from around the cabin. There will be a $75 clean up charge if our cleaners have to remove excess dog hair from the cabin, furniture, or linens.
ROCKY BOUND POND
The cabins offer water access to Rocky Bound Pond, where guests can enjoy the private 40' aluminum dock. Water activities such as swimming, fishing, and boating are available for guests to enjoy. Your stay includes a 3-person canoe and boat mooring (can hold up to a 20' pontoon boat). We offer kayak, paddleboard, and floating mat rentals for an additional fee. The shorefront to Rocky Bound Pond is shared with other guests.
BOOKING

We appreciate guests who respect our property, the natural environment, and other guests who may be vacationing at nearby properties. Parties or events of any type will not be tolerated.
By booking the Honeymoon Cabin and Little Cabin Retreat, you agree to Pond Life Vacation Rentals’ House Rules and Dog Policy. The Honeymoon Cabin is not pet friendly.
We provide a Weber gas grill and Weber charcoal grill; Guests provide their own charcoal; an initial propane tank will be provided.
CLEANING AND SUPPLIES
This is a self-catered vacation rental. A limited supply of consumables is provided for your stay, including one (1) toilet paper roll per bathroom; one (1) roll of paper towels; one (1) dishwater detergent pod; dish soap; hand soap; and a garbage bag. Please be sure to bring additional supplies, including beach towels, for your stay. Each property is professionally cleaned and stocked prior to your arrival.
Our cabins come with bedspreads, linens, blankets, pillows, towels, a fully equipped kitchen, TV, and furnishings unless otherwise specified.
LOCATION
Our Cabins are located in a Pond Community with several cabins and cottages along a rustic dirt road in Croydon, NH and are easily accessed off I-89. There is onsite parking for two vehicles in each driveway and are easily accessible from the driveways.
There are many lakes and ponds surrounding the cabins to enjoy fishing and boating!
ATV’s are allowed on certain roads throughout Croydon that tie into Class VI roads and trail system that provides miles of exploring. There are several local snowmobile trailheads nearby.
SNOW STORMS
The Cabins are located in the mountains and subject to potentially large snowfalls. The location is rural and the Cabin driveways and walkways to the front doors are plowed and shoveled professionally. We cannot control what time of day the plow comes and it's safe to assume the larger the snowfall, the longer the plow delay. The plow may not come when only three inches of snow or less is forecasted. A shovel and sand/salt are provided for your convenience. Please monitor weather forecasts prior to your arrival.
GUEST ACCESS
The Honeymoon Cabin and Little Cabin Retreat offer contactless check-in for all guests. You will receive check-in instructions the day of your arrival. A welcome binder, located on the kitchen islands, provides local attractions, area dining, and instructions for appliances. We’re available to answer any questions you may have during your stay. We’re knowledgeable about the surrounding area, so feel free to call or text us with your questions.

HOUSE RULES
-Guests are required to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement prior to arrival to comply with Pond Life Vacation Rentals’ Terms of Service, Homeowners' Association rules or local laws or regulations.
- Guest must be over the age of 25 to book and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period
- ID verification on booking guest prior to arrival
- Direct Bookings / VRBO Bookings: $1.000 Damage Deposit will be held on Guest's credit card 1 day before arrival and released 7 days after departure for stays less than 30 days. $1,000 Damage Deposit will be held on Guest's credit card 1 day before arrival and released 30 days after departure for stays more than 30 days.
- Direct Bookings: Reservation Cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee. A 10% cancellation fee applies on paid prepayments when reservation is canceled any time prior to arrival.
- All House Rules and Dog Policy must be followed throughout the duration of the stay
- Honeymoon Cabin is not pet friendly
- Quiet time is between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. No parties, large gatherings, events, excessive noise, or any illegal activity shall take place at property. Fires and fireworks are not permitted. No smoking is allowed in or around the property. If any sign of smoking is discovered, Guest authorizes the Owner to charge the Guest a minimum $500 cleaning fee.
- Bottled water is required for consumption
- Couch is for sitting not sleeping
- Guests are expected to leave the properties tidy before departing. Please wash the dishes, take out the trash and place used towels in the showers.
- Parents should be aware of where children are at all times. Young children should be supervised when on waterfront areas, beachfront, boat launches or boating. Children under the age of 18 should always wear life jackets when involved in boating or waterfront activities. Parents accept full responsibility for their children in all waterfront activities and boating.
- Please be considerate when using cooking spices. We all love flavor, but some smells permeate longer than your stay. Any excessive odor may result in additional fees charged. Do not cook with strong aromatic foods and heavy spices inside the cabin, please use the outside grill.
- Dogs must be leashed on and off property. New Hampshire has a leash law.
-Travel Insurance is highly recommended for any stay.
- All properties managed by Pond Life Vacation Rentals have on-site devices for the safety and security of guests and the home. Any attempt to turn off, damage, disrupt or remove these devices will lead to fines and/or eviction without a refund. This home has the following devices: Sound Decibel Monitor - does not record, monitors noise level, located in common areas throughout the home; Security Cameras - Exterior of property.
- These rentals cannot be used for business purposes
-The number of guests listed on the booking reservation is considered the maximum number of guests approved and authorized to be on the property, staying the night or visiting. A guest is any adult or child at the property. No unauthorized guests on the property at any time. Disregarding this is cause for booking being terminated and Guest(s) being asked to vacate the property. No refunds will be given. Guests will be charged $100 per night per person for guests exceeding the approved number of guests.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
- If a booking Guest or a member of the party damages the home, the booking Guest may be charged up to $1,000.
