Loved the views, pool and hot tub. The patio area in the morning and evening was great. The property management hooked us up with a driver for the week and David was amazing! Great trip! Thank you!

Family trip to revisit vacation spot from 20 years ago

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four adults, three kids. House was perfect. Pool was shaded in the afternoon so the kids could swim without concerns of getting burned. Kitchen very well equipped. No AC in main area not an issue, we were there in mid June as doors and windows on all four sides. Great covered porch on upper level perfect for coffee in the morning and relaxing anytime. They provide beach towels, huge packing help. And washing machine and dryer allowed us to wash bathing suits mid trip. Not far from grocery store. Would return every year if the kids would come

Amazing

Property was in great shape. Close to downtown fun in St John. Only issues was the main gathering area did not have AC. It was a little warm cooking breakfast.

A great week with family!

Beach area beautiful with great snorkeling! Pool clean and perfect for cooling off! If staying in the summer months, bring lots of bug spray…mosquitoes are terrible! Air conditioning in the bedrooms great, but there isn’t any in the kitchen or common area. Made it very hot for cooking.

Sunset Beach was the perfect villa for our week long stay. The house was in good condition, the kitchen was well equipped, and the grounds were well kept. We will definitely be renting this villa again on a return trip!

Great for our family getaway!

Reviewer Comments: Sunset Beach worked really well for us - just a short drive from town we were able to enjoy the quiet of the home, and pop in to town as we wanted. The pool was lovely - and the layout of the house worked for gathering together as a family, while also giving everyone the space they needed to rest and relax. The rental team was great - the place was clean and there were even some small provisions provided for our arrival which was a sweet touch. Overall - we really enjoyed our stay - and my mom is ready to book again for next year.

Family Fun ( or couple's dream) Home

Reviewer Comments: This house had an extremely well stocked kitchen with great pots and pans-I know ,weird but so many places don't. The kids went snorkeling right down the path. The beach is rocky and there are urchins but just wear your water shoes, they saw a baby octopus! Pool was refreshing. Hot tub at sunset was gorgeous. The beach equipment provided including coolers, snorkling gear and chairs were all in good shape.The house is a trifle worn but I really thing that's reflected in the price which was very reasonable for a house this size! Pro tip if you rented a big car(ours was a six seat jeep) park at the top of the road!The left from Mampoo is a doozy. If I had a smaller jeep it would have been easy but even cabs didn't want to come all the way down! Great house, very clean,and comfortable

We especially enjoyed the outdoor showers. Beautiful landscaping with resident iguanas & tropical birds that were fun to watch. Rocky access wasn’t worth the mediocre snorkeling (post hurricane). Quiet neighborhood with easy access to fun Cruz Bay and lovely No. Shore beaches.

The management company, Catered To, provided excellent customer service in responding the same day to our two maintenance issues: they repaired a toilet handle mechanism and replaced a non-working portable fan. We did not use the hot tub because it seemed to be an older model and the water did not look inviting.

Amazing stay in St. John!

It is a large, updated home with gorgeous views all around. It is about a 12 minute drive to get to Cruz Bay by car so very convenient. The Catered To team was very responsive before and during our stay and took care of our minor issues very promptly. The home is well-equipped and we cooked many of our meals at the house without any issues. The AC in the rooms are great and kept us cooled off. Also appreciated having 2 sets of washer/dryers on site. We loved having access to our own pool as well as rocky beach. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Hear the waves crashing!

It was so nice to gather at the pool/hot tub when we returned.The only downside to our week was that the main living space does not have air conditioning and the bugs made it difficult to be outside at night.The location was so peaceful. The waves crashing and the sunsets were great, but the driveway was very steep and our taxis struggled to get in and out (but they did it)!

We travel to St John on a yearly basis. We picked this house because of the waterfront access, the hot tub and the pool. There was some confusion at our arrival, however, we are familiar enough with the island that we were able to find the house ourselves. We were welcomed with a lovely basket of snacks, beverages and some necessities. The house was clean, the beds were comfy. Unfortunately, things went downhill after that. After a long day of traveling and a recent back injury I headed to the hot tub. It wasn’t working properly and wasn’t heating. I called first thing in the am. Was told someone would come out. When we returned to the house that evening the pool had turned green, hot tub still not fixed. The following am was Sunday, nobody answered or returned any of my calls. On the third day workers came and spent the entire day fixing everything.This was an expensive property to rent. I was very disappointed. It is an older home in need of maintenance. There were numerous other small things that needed attention as well. Out of a five day stay I spent the first three days dealing with these problems.

Outdated and in need of repairs

This is a pretty setting but the house is sorely needing a refresh. Doors on cabinets falling off. Lights that don’t turn off at the switch. Rusty fans. Cracked tiles and concrete. It doesn’t look like any regular maintenance occurs. Looked great online; not with the money.

The iguanas and hermit crabs made daily appearances too which was fun! Only suggestion would be to add air conditioning to the indoor family/kitchen area. We definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for a place to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday work grind!
