Keep Cool in the Poolside Shade at a Charming Encino House

Serve breakfast in a gazebo in a leafy backyard. Stride across flagstones and slip into a tranquil pool. Snooze in a hammock. Return indoors to cook in a family-style kitchen. Discover a spa-like room and relax in a hot bath, or daydream in a beautiful succulent filled garden.

Gorgeous guest home South of Ventura Blvd with parklike grounds and pool. Heart of celebrity studded Encino. Attached to the main residence by a sealed hall, this 5-Star oasis is a separate 1800 sq. ft. residence with own private entrance. Two queen beds, plus two pull out full sized beds and single mattress for kids. Sunlit ensuite-bathroom with double sink, large soaker-tub and shower upstairs. Dwn-Strs bathroom has large shower. Huge walk-in closet upstairs. Loft area with cathedral ceilings creates open feel for entertaining or relaxing. Fully equipped kitchen with service for eight. 2 flat-screen T.V.’s with full list of Direc-TV channels and hi-speed internet access.
Shopping, restaurants, grocery, Starbucks and Jamba Juice less than a mile. Getty Museum and Universal Studios are a short drive, and Disneyland is under 45 miles. Close access to westside of Los Angeles (Beverly Hills, Century City, Santa Monica, etc.), and less than one mile from some of the best hiking trails in the city.

We are here for our guests anytime, and usually never more than a few minutes away.

Located in an enclave of multi-million dollar residences, the Encino area is home to many celebrities, and is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in all of Los Angeles. Explore close by Ventura Boulevard, a 20-mile stretch of shopping, restaurants, eclectic shops and more. Centrally located to Beverly Hills, beaches, museums and downtown, this area truly has it all.

Please note that we have 2 very friendly dogs that live in the main residence. They are NEVER allowed in the guest house, whether we have guests in residence or not. If you or your family has an allergy or is otherwise disinclined to be around dogs, it's quite easy for us to make sure that they are confined to areas where guests won't interact with them when they are coming, going or in the backyard. If not, and you'd like to meet our pooches, then "woof-woof," because they'd love to meet you!....

This was our second stay in the past year and our hosts are terrific. The home is spacious, clean, comfortable, and offers a great location to restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, etc.

Very welcoming hosts. Stay was very comfortable. They are available 24/7. Everything was near by- restaurants, grocery stores. Enjoyed the hot tub and the lovely backyard too.

The entire home was very clean and nicely furnished. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and for outdoor use. Fully equipped kitchen, great air conditioning for those warm evenings. Beautiful garden and refreshing swimming pool. We used the hot tub a lot and our hosts were always quick to turn it on and off for us. Perfect location for our needs and we slept so well.

What an amazing place! It was so comfortable, yard was spectacular. We had a blast at Universal and then came back to a lush oasis where we enjoyed the hot tub and surroundings. Hosts were so friendly, just a great place!!

This beautiful home was as advertised. It is an amazing 2 bedroom loft style gated guest house.We loved the pool and hot tub in the back which was relaxing and refreshing after a day of sightseeing. Kat and Logan were extremely nice and very responsive to any and all of our needs. Would highly recommend this home and will stay here the next time we are in the los angelos area.

Lovely Getaway

Our family had such a nice stay at Logan & Kat’s beautiful guest home. The yard is absolutely gorgeous, relaxing, & serene. The pool & hot tub provided endless entertainment for our three young kids & a relaxing escape for our whole family. Great neighborhood & location. Logan & Kat are accommodating & responsive hosts.

Simple and Relaxing

The property owners greeted us when we arrived and kept in touch with us every single day on our 4 day stay.All of our needs were met. Beautiful home and yard with kind knowledgeable hosts!

What a gorgeous and clean home this was! Our family of 5 fit perfectly in this home, which was centrally located and a breeze to get in and out of. The backyard was gorgeous and the home had everything we needed and more. Be sure to checkout their suggested restaurants as they were great recommendations! We will definitely stay here again!

Kat was the ideal hostess, there when we needed and not when we didn`t. Everything we needed was in the property and the garden was delightful retreat from the city.

Beautiful property and lovely owners!

We loved our stay in this beautiful property. The house is lovely, very comfortable and spacious. The backyard and pool are gorgeous and we enjoyed spending our evenings cooling down and having fun in it! The hosts are just the nicest, helpful people you could meet. We definitely recommend staying here and if we ever come back to LA - we would most certainly stay here again!

The property was simply perfect – a beautiful, clean, and private home in a beautiful and safe area.We are incredibly grateful to Kat and Logan for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We’ve never rented a holiday property that was so well-equipped with everything we needed – it truly felt like a real home away from home!We had a packed itinerary as we had to return to the UK for our daughters’ exams, so we squeezed a lot in during our stay, including Disney days. Initially, we considered staying at different hotels, but we’re so glad we chose to stay here for the entire 10 nights. It was a lovely base in a safe and quiet location with a gated driveway. The perfect size for a family of four, including two teenagers (13 and 15), despite the part our son and daughter shared being open plan, there was plenty of privacy with the walk-in wardrobe and huge bathroom, plus a further bathroom downstairs.The garden and pool area were breathtaking, and our only regret was that we didn’t get to spend as much time at the house as we would have liked due to our busy days.Every restaurant recommendation we tried was wonderful – The Stand, Cauldines, and The Nook. Being there over Halloween meant we were even able to go and see some fantastic displays a few streets away, as recommended by Kat. If we come back to LA, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to all our friends and family.Thank you so much for helping us have such a great trip

Amazing Encino Getaway

We had a lovely stay with Kat and Logan. They are the most kind, helpful and communicative hosts. Their guest home is so warm and cozy and the backyard is breathtaking (you have to see it to fully appreciate its beauty and serenity). The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and stores and restaurants are close by. We didn't want to leave!

Peaceful retreat

Katherine and Logan have created a peaceful, relaxing, secure, comfortable and veery clean space. While our face-to-face was brief, they are very kind and respond quickly to any inquiries. The listing is exactly as described and as other reviews have mentioned, the backyard garden is gorgeous. The squirrels, hummingbirds, and birds enjoyed their morning as much as the guests. There was plenty of space, comfortable beds and a plus to have found a property with two bathrooms. The downstairs shower had great water pressure. I can't say enough positive things about the space and hope to return in the future.

Overall a great experience. The space needed a few minor repairs - door knob, screen door, and shower handle but didn’t tarnish the experience.

We've been in Encino for almost 30 years, and wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the Los Angeles area. Convenient, beautiful, centrally located and close to some of L.A.'s best hiking trails.

Our home, Crickethaven is in one of the City's best nabes. The house feels like a retreat. We're particularly proud of our backyard. A true oasis.
