Bayside Cottage, near Rehoboth-sleeps 8!

A cute beach style cottage, perfect for a family vacation! The Neighborhood is on a Rehoboth bay tributary where you have direct access to the water where you can enjoy the kayaking, crabbing, fishing, relaxing, boat watching and be amazed by the most beautiful sunsets. There is free access to the large pool and kiddie pool as well as access to recreational areas such as a playground, pickleball and basketball courts, bocce and more! Popular beaches like Rehoboth are only a short drive away!
This property is awesome! It is within a gated community which is great for safety. The community has a clubhouse area that has a large olympic size pool, baby pool and a snack bar! Lots of fun things to do up there and it's all free for guests. We provide pool passes without charge as well. The house itself is about a block and a half away from the water. You can walk, ride bikes or drive to the water area in just a couple minutes. Once there you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, sunsets, boats going in and out, kayaking, walking, or just sitting on a bench swing. There are numerous docks where you can sit or fish or crab as well. Kids love crabbing for sure! There is so much to do, we often stay within the neighborhood. But if we want to go out, the beaches are only about 15-20 minutes away (rehoboth/lewes/dewey). We have great restaraunt's just around the corner, as well as outdoor bars such as the 'paradise grille' that are great for the whole family. There are a few excellent golf courses just down the street as well that rank some of the best in Delaware (Baywood Greens, Bear Trap Dunes, Plantation lakes amongst others). Charter boats are a short trip away as well. Oh and dont forget about the shopping outlets like Tangers, old navy, coach and many more just down the road on Rt. 1 (No sales Tax by the way!).
On those rainy or lazy days you can always head over to Midway movies,'Lefty's alley and eats', or 'shell we bounce' trampoline park. Midway also has water parks during the day with go carts and other activities.
There are several winery's in the area as well as several top breweries such as Dog fish brewery amongst others.
This property and location are ideal for everyone in the family to enjoy themselves!

We are a family of four and we purchased this awesome beach house in 2019! We bought with the intent of using it for beach vacations and spending quality time with the family. Obviously a second house can be costly, so we decided to make it a vacation rental as well to help with the costs. We love being able to share our little slice of heaven with others. We travel here numerous times throughout the year. The kids love the loft type bedrooms. We as parents love, love the living room because it is the main focal point of the house forcing everyone to interact alot. We really enjoy our family time and we know you will as well if you stay at our cottage!

This property is awesome! It is within a gated community which is great for safety. The community has a clubhouse area that has a large olympic size pool, baby pool, snack shack, basketball and pickle ball courts, a pavillion, baseball field and a playground. Lots of fun things to do up there and its all free for guests. We provide pool passes without charge as well. The house itself is about a block and a half away from the Delaware bay tributary. You can walk, ride bikes or drive to the water area in pretty much seconds. Once there you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, sunsets, boats going in and out, kayaking, walking, or just sitting on a bench swing. There are numerous docks where you can sit or fish or crab as well. Kids love crabbing for sure! There is so much to do, we often stay within the neighborhood. But if we want to go out, the beaches are only about 15-20 minutes away (rehoboth/lewes/dewey). Our house is unique in that it has four bedrooms and sleps 8 people comfortably. Each bedroom sleeps two people and there also is a pull out sofa bed in case someone wants there own space. Each upstairs bedroom has its own staircase and overlook the main living room. Each upstairs bedroom also has there own balcony on each end of the house. There is a smart TV which has access to streaming platforms as long as you have accounts (ie netflix). We have a large wicker basket in the living room that has plenty of board games for the family as well. We have a large rack with about 100 DVD movies that you can choose from to watch if you wish (no charge). There are also numerous James Patterson books available as well for the reader's out there. We provide sheets, pillows and pillow cases, but NOT blankets so please pack them with you. We start you off with two rolls of toilet paper, 2 tide pods and 2 pods for dishes and a couple trash bags. If you need more you will have either bring it with you or grab some from the store. There are plenty of parking out front as well. We have a good size front and rear yard to sit around in the adirondack chairs or play yard games such as cornhole or frisbee etc. We have a shed in the rear yard that guests have access to as well. All items inside a free to use. Inside we provide 3 adult bikes and 1 youth bike to enjoy riding around the neighborhood to go to clubhouse area, the bay, boat ramp, slips, or just to stroll around and check things out. We also provide about 5 beach chairs, some beach toys like pale, shovels for the little one's and boogie boards for the other kids as well as paddle balls and misc. other stuff. We have Kayak life preservers and paddles in the event you wish to rent the kayaks for a small fee. I highly recommend taking a day or two kayak out in the bay. You wont be disappointed!
All in all this property has plenty of things to keep you and any kids occupied and happy! Great times are sure to be had by all!!
