Welcome to The Sandcastle, our custom resort-style getaway! This incredible vacation home sits on 5 peaceful acres in Kanab, Utah. If you're looking for a luxurious large home for your family reunion, business retreat or vacation with friends, look no further! You'll be central to Zion National Park, Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon, Lake Powell, and local attractions. Relax by the Private pool, gaze at the starry skies of Southern Utah from the hot tub or fire pit, or enjoy our 2 pickleball courts, basketball court, patio and BBQ grill.

The Space:
You've found your own desert oasis at The Sandcastle in Kanab! It's a terrific option for larger groups as you can sleep up to 14 people. There are 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. There are two master suites, two living rooms and two kitchens. Luxury and ease is yours to command.

Upstairs:

Master Suite 1 - Plush king bed, amazing views, ensuite bathroom with double vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower.

Master Suite 2 - Plush king bed, private access to backyard, amazing views, ensuite bathroom with double vanity, large walk-in shower w/bench.

The half bath is also upstairs along with the laundry room with 2 washers and dryers.

Living Room 1 - Comfy sofa and chairs, large Smart TV, fireplace.

Kitchen 1 - State-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, fully-stocked for cooking your favorite meals, dining table, countertop seating for 6. Kitchen items include a blender, toaster, 2 crock pots, griddle, pots and pans.

Downstairs:

Guest Bedroom 1 - King bed, twin trundle bed, Smart TV.

Guest Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, twin sofa sleeper, Smart TV.

Both guest bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom.

Bunk Room - 3 sets of bunk beds, one has 2 queen beds and the others are twin bunks.

The Bunk Room has its own bathroom with a spacious double vanity and walk-in shower.

Living Room 2 - Reclining sofa/chairs, large Smart TV, bar area w/seating, sliding glass door to backyard and pool area.

Kitchen 2 - State-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, fully-stocked for cooking your favorite meals.

Yard - Privacy fencing all around, desert landscaping, patio, tables and plenty of outdoor seating, smoker and propane grill, fire pit, swimming pool, hot tub, basketball and pickleball courts.
Parking- Plenty of parking space for ATV's and Boats.

Guest Access:
You'll receive the code 3 days prior to your check-in date. PLEASE NOTE there is a race track behind the house but this is NOT for guest use due to liability. Please be sure to stay inside the perimeters of the fence and be courteous of the jprivate property surrounding the home.

The Neighborhood:
The Sandcastle is located in a new subdivision east of Kanab.

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab.

Equestrian and biking trails are also available.

Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1.25 hours away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3.5 hours away.

Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date.

For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well as the hot tub and pool.

The pool opens in mid-May or June through roughly October each season depending on the weather.

Kanab is situated and in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (35 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (81 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 84 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (24 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (12 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (54 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (25 miles), Kodachrome Basin (98 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (68 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (45 miles), Horseshoe Bend (73 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (69 miles) and so much more. Please note mileage is approximate and may vary by a few miles.

Enjoy your dream vacation in Kanab, also known as "Little Hollywood"!
