Bailey's Bungalow! Just minutes to Galveston Seawall! - Dog Friendly! Sleeps 8!

Located in the heart of town, you'll be minutes away from the Historic Downtown Strand area, shopping, restaurants, and events. Looking to cruise the Seawall? Seaside fun is also minutes from this perfect Island getaway. Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered front porch. The fully stocked kitchen features a Keurig and drip combination coffee maker. There's a spacious living area with big screen TV and streaming capabilities. If you're here for a staycation and need to do a little work, there's a desk ready for you to use. Enjoy free wifi and feel free to bring your own Fire Stick, gaming device, etc. If you choose to dine-in, there is a fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances and two dining options with a small table for two in the kitchen or a dining area for four with a beautiful chandelier. The primary bedroom has a comfy queen size bed and tv. There are bunk beds and a nice size closet in the second bedroom. The bathroom has been beautifully updated with walk-in shower to relax at the end of your beach day. A great backyard for your family is ready for you to hang out and fully fenced for your furry babies as well. Relax in the hammock or at the bar height Adirondack chairs & table. There is also additional back yard seating and a charcoal grill. Parking in the driveway and on the street. Exterior camera facing the driveway up to the front door. There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. 25lb limit. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum. No cats allowed. All fees and services are subject to 15% tax. We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. A photo copy of identification of main renter is required prior to arrival of stay.

Prettiest little house.

Hospitality was awesome. Management was very kind. House and rooms were all very clean. Would definitely recommend this place for future family trips.

Weekend getaway

The house was perfect. Great outdoor space, loved the doggie door. The only problem was the parking on the street. The driveway for parking was always blocked by the neighbors do leaving no place to park but a block awaywas the

There's a small, 1-vehicle driveway available for guests, and I am so sorry to hear that it was blocked during your stay. The area of the property is street parking. Great stay at convenient location

The stay was great! The house was clean and equipped with everything needed. The only problem we had was parking. There is not much parking space and the neighbors kept parking in front and we would have to go aske them move almost every day. He had no problem moving and was very kind but it was annoying having to go up his stairs to ask him to move with 3 kids in the car. Other tham that it was a nice house and very comfortable.

The photo is very deceiving sibce the location is not very appealing.

The photo makes it Seem like it's all nice and clean. And aesthetically pleasing, but when you get there, the neighbors are working on cars.They're blocking the driveway.They make it difficult to get into the driveway. The overall outside appearance of the house is nice, but the outside appearance of the surrounding area is not pleasing to the eye

When we arrived, the house (especially the kitchen) was covered with dead flies. I wish I could leave pictures on here. It was NASTY!!!! It was so bad, there was a musty smell from the dead flies. When I called management, I was told where to find a broom.

Please accept my sincerest apologies for the disappointing stay, James. When we spoke on the phone, I explained that we had cleaners and inspectors who ensured the cleanliness of the place before the guest's arrival. There's a possibility that the flies got there after they inspected the place due to the pest control. I informed you I would let our housekeeping and maintenance team know this but you asked where the broom was so I placed the call on hold to check. When I called you back, you said you already found where it was, which led me to believe you preferred to handle the situation by sweeping the dead flies. I am very sorry that I misread your response. Sadly, I was not informed about the musty smell. We take our guest's feedback seriously and rest assured we will do our best to prevent this from happening again.

Decent

The house is pretty. The master bedroom is not a king as advertised, just a queen. The bed was COVERED in dog hair when we arrived. The linens did not smell clean. The comforter and pillows are stained. We arrived Christmas night to find only a half roll of toilet paper and no way to buy more since everything was closed for Christmas. Also it was advertised that we would have a washer and dryer in the home. We were unable to locate them. With our family, the stay was nice, but we will most likey not return to this one.
