Black Bear Hideaway: Luxury Lodge in Hocking Hills

Black Bear Hideaway is a pet-friendly, black bear-themed lodge tucked away on just over 4 wooded acres along a quiet residential road in the heart of Hocking Hills. This warm and inviting retreat features 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and 1 half bath, making it the perfect gathering place for families and friends. Layout includes 3 queen bedrooms and 2 bunk rooms (sleeping 2 and 4 guests respectively).

For Family-style stays: the lodge accommodates a blend of up to 14 adults/children.

For Adult-only stays: a maximum of 11 adults (all age 25+ with proof of ID) permitted.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable open-concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, spacious dining area, and cozy living room anchored by a beautiful wood-burning fireplace. Whether you’re preparing a large family meal or relaxing after a day exploring the parks, the lodge is designed for comfort and connection.

Covered front and back porches offer peaceful spaces to enjoy your morning coffee, gather for outdoor meals, or unwind in rocking chairs surrounded by wooded scenery and wildlife.

The lower-level game room provides entertainment for all ages with foosball, air hockey, ping pong, board games, and large-screen TVs with satellite programming. Outdoors, guests can relax in the 6-person hot tub, gather around the fire pit under the stars, or simply enjoy the quiet setting and fresh air.

Conveniently located just a short drive from Hocking Hills State Park and area attractions, Black Bear Hideaway is ideal for family vacations, reunions, girls’ weekends, friend getaways, and smaller corporate retreats.

Up to 2 dogs under 40 pounds each are welcome for an additional fees.
