Our stay at this property was extremely disappointing and ultimately unsafe. From the moment we arrived, we encountered multiple issues with the condition of the home that were not disclosed in the listing. There was also no cell phone service at the property, which created a significant safety concern, especially while traveling with children.When we reported these issues in good faith, the host did not attempt to understand or resolve them. Instead, the situation escalated unnecessarily, culminating in the police being called despite us doing nothing wrong — something the responding officers directly confirmed.Shortly afterward, we left and noted this to the host. They then canceled our reservation without issuing a refund, which also prevented us from leaving an initial review. The entire experience caused us to leave the property for our own comfort and safety.We were hoping for a peaceful post-holiday getaway, but this was not the experience delivered. I would not recommend this property based on safety, communication, and overall guest treatment.
