Cozy getaway

Loved the yurt! We plan to come again. Loved that we could bring our small dog. Close to everything in NB/Gruene. Fabulous stay.

Great and Unique Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The yurt is glamping at it's finest. Very comfortable bed, linens, and towels. The front porch patio is a great place to hang out and enjoy the quiet and nature. The small fridge and microwave are perfect for small meals there. Everything was very clean and we enjoyed our stay. It was also very convenient to Gruene and New Bruanfels and was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go.

Pleasant Experience

The Yurt was just as described. We had a pleasant and peaceful stay. It's just minutes away from downtown Gruene where we wanted to spend our time. The neighborhood is a bit on the lower end, but as soon as you turn onto the property, you can't see any other homes. The property itself is surrounded by trees and is well maintained.

Great little getaway!

The most! Also, we enjoyed seeing local wildlife like deer meandering around the property.The bed was so comfortable!

Texas Yurt Haus

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the Horned Frog, it was comfortable and relaxing. Super close to Gruene and not to far from the Horse Shoe on the Gaudalupe river. Plenty of wildlife on the property to watch while sipping coffee from Jolt or the coffee shop in Gruene. For excellent breakfest we love to go to Granzins Bar B Q or Los Gallos. Only negative feed back we have is the lighting on the walk way wasn't working.

Unique and fun stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While I have "glamped" before, this was one of my favorite glamping experiences. The yurt was fantastic and even in sweltering heat stayed comfortable.Close to everywhere I needed to be and the rental process was a breeze.There is considerable environmental noise in the mornings (earplugs are provided), but it was very manageable and added to the ambiance.Definitely would return.

Great Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at Texas Yurt Haas. We had a great experience both times! We did have a few minor issues such as the sound machine not working and the door being extremely difficult to open. We unfortunately had to leave our vacation a day early and did not want to bother any one over the holiday, but sent an email letting the company know of the issues to be fixed for the next guest.

Horned frog

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had to switch my plan due to my partner needing to attend an inpatient program & couldn’t get a refund so I took my 8 year old I would say it’s not kid friendly if you don’t have a full schedule outside of your stay. The WiFi was out & I was told to reset it (which didn’t fix it) in the property’s middle on an electrical pole. Texas summer brings lots of bugs early spring would be better possibly. They were responsive to me but over all we wouldn’t stay again.

Celina, yes this is a yurt on 20 acres in south Texas summer so bugs are definitely present. After you were not able to reset the router we sent maintenance and had the Wi-Fi back up and running. We hope you find a location that better suits your needs in the future. - Thanks NBE
