**4WD/AWD is required to access this beautiful remote escape**

Security cameras that record audio and video are located on the exterior of the property, these are for security purposes only and are not monitored while guests are on the property, unless the host has a reason to check the video footage. Cameras monitor the front, sides and back of the property.

A great cabin with privacy and wonderful views. Included all the amenities we needed and was nearby to hiking trails that made our stay even better. Our host Erin gave us great guidance on how to reach the cabin and checked in through out the stay. Would surely book again for a cabin stay in Payson. Thank you Erin

Beautiful cabin with stunning views and location. Perfect getaway to rest and relax. Amenities all very nice and exceptionally clean. Even outdoor patio furniture was very high quality and comfortable with several options. Location was private, peaceful and worth the drive. Host is very friendly, welcoming, and responsive to communication. Can not go wrong with this booking!!

The property had a beautiful deck with a wonderful view. The cabin was clean, comfortable, well equipped and the host was very responsive and easy to deal with. We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy, spacious, simple but elegant. Amazing views, fun drive getting there.Pro tip: the coffeemaker is a hybrid basket/k-pod, so bring your favorite pods if you’re into that.

Cabin is VERY comfortable, well equipped and the location provides privacy and wonderful views of the landscapes below. The furnishings are high end and the beds are great. Owners are VERY responsive if there are any issues.

We had an AMAZING time and the view is THE BEST! It was so peaceful and everything inside was very well organized and had everything we could possibly want. Will miss the time we got to spend on the rockers on the front porch looking out across the valley. The bedroom’ and bathroom’s had everything we needed and were very clean. We are so so glad we stayed at least 5 nights and hope to stay longer next time. Wonderful hosts to work with. Corinne Distel

Great place

Erin's place was nice and she's very responsive. The property definitely needs a 4WD to get to as specified on the listing. Place was clean and everything needed is there. The location is fantastic for viewing stars and the night sky. I would recommend and would stay again for watching stars.

Top of the Rock

We were seeking snow to show our grandchildren but found breathtakingly beautiful views instead! Top of the Rock is a fabulous & peaceful getaway with unbelievable mountain views! Our communication with the owner was outstanding & made our stay all the more pleasant. We would give a 10 star review if possible.

Worked out great

We planned a few days hiking in the area and the cabin was a great retreat. I do recommend showing up in the day light. We came in at night. Luckily we had screen shots of all the directions and instructions before we lost service. The detailed directions were spot on and very nice.

The cabin is beautiful and as pictured with stunning views. Definitely need a 4WD/AWD to get there as it is literally on Top of the Rock and the roads are not paved. The host was super responsive and provided detailed instructions with pictures which was helpful. Still we had some trouble finding the place and we were aggressively cussed out when we pulled into the wrong driveway. The one thing we did not know until after booking was that while dogs are permitted, home rules stipulate that they are not to be left alone in the cabin unattended. This handicapped our stay significantly and we were not able to leave them to go hiking or into town. There was also no place to walk them as the driveway is a steep incline - we have bulldogs. As a result we ended up doing a lot of good ol fashioned front porch sittin' and enjoyed the spectacular views. We ended up leaving a day early because of the dog situation. The cabin itself is very comfortable, roomy and very clean. Good wifi. I would reccommend this property if you have dogs that can go hiking with you and most certainly if you are pet free.

Extremely relaxing cabin

Staying at the top of the rock was an amazing relaxing experience it has a beautiful deck were you can enjoy the beautiful view of nature it’s a very cozy cabin to enjoy it with friends and family. Erin made sure that we had all the right information for us to make it there safely . We definitely recommend staying

Our stay at the "Top of the Rock" cabin was absolutely unforgettable, truly a gem.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views that stretched for miles. "Top of the Rock" isn't just a name, it's an accurate description of the incredible panorama you get from every angle.The cabin itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. It's clear the owners have put a lot of thought into every detail. We particularly loved the spacious and comfortable living areas. But the real highlight, beyond the stunning interior, was the outdoor space. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee on the deck, or simply taking in the fresh air, the peace and tranquility of this location were unparalleled.The location is ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, while still being conveniently close to Payson, Pine and Strawberry.We can't recommend "Top of the Rock" enough for anyone seeking a serene and truly picturesque getaway. We're already dreaming of our next visit.

Beautiful experience

We were fortunate enough to find this property. We thoroughly were able to relax and unwind. We saw elk and other wildlife. It is an extremely quiet place. The cabin is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. Communicating with Erin, the hostess, was easy and she was always available for questions etc. We would highly recommend this property. Please do take the suggestions from Erin seriously. Especially for AWD or 4WD. It would be very difficult to reach the property without the proper vehicle. Erin was an absolutely amazing person to deal with. We hope to come again. Thank you Erin!!

Top of The Rock at the Top of My List

Property was beautiful as well as the view. Very cabin like feel, like being in another peaceful world. The cows in the woods and sometimes on the road were hysterical. I took so many pictures of them. There really aren't any negatives except the driveway to the house. However, it was clearly stated in the listing that it was steep and 4 wheel drive was necessary. We had no difficulty navigating it with our Sequoia.

OUTSTANDING and Worth The Drive!

Staying at the top of the rock was an awesome experience! Erin was an amazing host and very helpful with any questions throughout our 3 day stay. The hosts had great recommendations to some restaurants when we didn’t want to cook and suggestions to local places to check out, too. The cabin and area were incredibly clean, modern and tranquil! The cabin had all the comforts of our home (appliances, internet, TV to watch Netflix, etc.), without the heat, noise, etc. of the Phoenix metro. Most of all, the sunrise was an amazing site raising up in front of the cabin and clear dark skies made for great star gazing. Perfect place to have a retreat, write a book, relax or explore. Multiple trails to check out and several nearby places to hike. We would HIGHLY recommend this cabin to others for getting away and recharging with nature.

Erin was absolutely incredible. Every little detail was thought of, from clear directions to having everything we could possibly need. The place is gorgeous, and we had such an amazing time celebrating our son’s 16th birthday. We will definitely be booking again; this will be our go-to spot in the future.
