Stroll along the unforgettable beaches of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore, take a surf lesson, fish off the pier or just enjoy the breathtaking views of sunrises over the Atlantic and sunsets over the Pamlico Sound. Don’t miss this charming cottage - a rare find centrally located on the OBX.
Serene and cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom beach box a stone’s throw from the ocean with full access to the Rodanthe Pier and the pristine beaches of Rodanthe. Smart TVs throughout, a large, counter-height dining room table (perfect for family meals and board games!), and a beautiful, ocean-facing deck are all part of the stay here. Gas BBQ, an outdoor shower, hot tub, full array of beach gear, and plenty of beach chairs make the outdoor area a big extension of the house. Your pup will feel right at home with a fully fenced brand new dog run just a few feet from the deck. Our cozy house is the perfect spot for your dog-friendly, family-family vacation on the Outer Banks! Enjoy life under the stars and string lights in Rodanthe!

We absolutely loved our stay at sea winds! It is so close to the beach so it was so easy to bop back over to the house during the day. Such a great place for the dogs with the fenced in dog run. Would definitely stay again!

Sea winds was better than advertised. The location is ideal, the house is perfectly appointed… I did not want for anything. And the lovely extra details and thoughtful touches for dogs and humans alike made this such a special place. I will be returning.

This property is great, the convenient short walk to the pier or beach is great. Definitely will be staying here again

What a Great Trip! The house was very clean, organized, and had a home feel to it from the minute we walked in until the day we left! One of the best "pet friendly" homes we have stayed in and highly recommend if this is the area you want to stay in. Also, the short walk to the pier was easy!

Great stay
Property was well maintained and communication with host was great. Well stocked amenities for cooking/grilling. Great proximity to the ocean!

Relaxing getaway
We had a great time and were very impressed with all the extra touches that the owners thought of. The cottage was nicely furnished and equipped and very clean. Would definite stay there again!

I cannot say enought good things about our stay. The house is absolutely beautiful, with everything carefully thought of that made our stay feel like home. The view of the ocean, not to mention mere steps away from the beach was pure heaven. And it was not an over-crowded beach, just pure relaxation. The hosts were communicative, hospitable, helpful and friendly, and seemed eager to help you when you needed it. I, a 47 year old single mom, brought my 16 year old son, 14 year old daughter, my 79 year old dad and my 77 year old mom. We made beautiful memories and had a relaxing time together. My only complaint was that we didn't stay longer! I guess that means I will have to come back! Wonderful hosts, wonderful house, wonderful beach, perfect vacation!!!

Just perfect!
The gates on the deck and the dog run made this stay so perfect for us and our two dogs! Plenty of space in the house, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Will definitely come back!

Perfect getaway
This house was perfect for disconnecting for a few days. Very clean, well appointed, and comfortable. We spent most of our time in the new deck that includes a hot tub and an outdoor shower. Loved it!

Sheer perfection
Took a long weekend with my dog to press pause on the corporate world and this place was perfect. Steps away from the ocean, great views, clean beyond expectations, and allowed for a fantastic recharge. Thank you the attention to detail and will be sure to come back sooner than later!

A little piece of paradise barefoot Vacay
We stayed in this adorable beach house that was so thoughtfully designed. The view from the deck, looking out over the Atlantic and the pier, was just stunning. It was the perfect place to kick back and relax.One of the best parts was definitely the hot tub – it added a touch of luxury to our trip. Plus, the outdoor shower was such a fun daily treat. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, spending the week in barefoot bliss at this little paradise.If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend staying at this beach house. It's a dream location that gave us some unforgettable memories.

Holiday Getaway
Beautiful, clean, roomy home steps to the beach. Started the week with warmer weather and days playing in the waves and collecting shells, ended the week with chilly weather and soaking in the hot tub. Steps from the beach to watch the sunrise every morning. Everything we needed was provided. Enjoyed every second of our stay at this beautiful home. Cannot recommend Sea Winds enough.

Cutest little beach house in Rodanthe!
This house checked all the boxes for our family of 5! The deck was awesome to hang out and watch the sunset and we all enjoyed the hot tub after our days exploring and beaching! It was very clean and there was a great little basket of snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. Communication was great, appreciated the recommendations given for food spots etc. and we loved that the check out was easy. Such a great spot, literally steps from the beach and the shed had everything needed for a day at the beach. We just wish we could have spent more time here, highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The house was super clean and very comfortable. We had a great view of the beach. The house came with so many things that made the stay very easy. Rodanthe is a great area with wonderful views and easy access to everything. The fenced dog area made it super easy for Ruby. Thank you very much for the wonderful family memories and for being great host.

Rodanthe is a charming, "way it used to be" village on the north end of Hatteras Island - a glimpse back to a quieter time, but still close enough to the shops and restaurants of Manteo and Nags Head to make those rainy days (they do happen!) tolerable. We love the sense of community and small-town charm that Rodanthe offers and we know that you will too!

There is a magical "charm" about Sea Winds OBX that everyone who stays here feels - located steps from the ocean, it's easy to relax hearing the surf break or watching the sun rise. The house is perfect for one family - all on one level, not overbearingly huge, and just plain comfortable.
