This cabin surpassed our expectations by a long shot! Half the things we brought, we didn't even need because Donna has literally thought of everything you would possibly need during your stay! The screened porch was a favorite spot with the ping pong table, and there were all kinds of things for the kids to play with- the bubbles and water guns were their favorite!

A great weekend for the family. Cabin was awesome, Pattens Landing is perfect place for a large family or group. Everything was convenient either on the property or minutes away.

GREAT STAY

Family oriented plenty of stuff to do and plenty of room .only issue was AC quit for about 4 hrs no issues other than that I'd definitely come back.

"This cabin made our float trip weekend absolutely unforgettable! The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable—extra noodles and floaties were such a thoughtful touch, and the s’mores kit was a crowd-pleaser. The fireplace made for cozy evenings, and the swing set added a fun, playful vibe. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway!"

We loved our stay at Patten’s Landing! I don’t have enough good things to say about the cabin and the owners. They were incredibly helpful, answering all of my questions and giving advice for floating. Great access to river, comfy space, well stocked cabin, very private. A great place

Honestly, the nicest VRBO I have ever stayed at. If you think you forgot something, open a drawer and it was there. This property was the literal "Get away from it all" destination. The proximately to the river cannot be oversold but yet it was completely safe when the water got high. The river access is directly on a major floating route. Granted, we had to explain how we were fully lounging on this remote stretch of river but we could not help but brag about this property to all who passed by. We like to think we got a few rentals for the owners out of that. There is an entire butterfly garden that is not only gorgeous but the butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds it attracts meant we literally never needed bug spray for mosquitos.Sleeping arrangements were so nice. Comfy beds and private rooms. Also, they have 2 tankless water heaters so even though there was only one bathroom, we all got hot showers all the time.Oh my gosh, there's also wifi and decent cell service all the way to the river.Cannot recommend this property enough!

River house weekend with friends

This was one of our top VRBO stays! We had a wonderful long weekend with friends. The house is a short walk to the river (pretty easy) with nice beach and river access. The house had anything and everything you could possibly need - and if you can’t find something, there’s list of it all and where to find it! You can tell the love the owners put into this property. We’ll definitely be back! Lovely stay!!!

Fantastic getaway spot

We had a wonderful long weekend tucked away in this completely decked out cabin. It has everything we needed and more. Everything was well maintained and the house was well stocked with towels, tp, snacks, drinks, cooking supplies, games, and outdoor activity items. We would definately come back again.

River Paradise

The property was great as advertised. We enjoyed spending all day at the river and then heading back to grill up dinner. We topped off the evenings with a fire for smores. The Pattens thought of everything from information needed, supplies you wanted, and the space to enjoy it all. Owners have gone above and beyond in making this rental very special trip for our fathers day.

The cabin was nice and the property beautiful, but what really stands out is the small thoughtful things the owners leave for their guests. They left drinks and snacks as well as having stocks of first aid, meds, peppermint’s. Only bummer was getting to see a beautiful wildflower path without any blooming wildflowers. We will remedy this next year for our spring trip returning. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Perfect Family Get-Away

The cabin and the grounds were perfect for our annual family Thanksgiving trip. Hands-down, definitely the best stay we've had so far. The cabin, interesting with it's history, has been beautifully and functionally updated. Cooked dinner and two breakfasts on the outdoor Blackstone griddle (nice touch!). The fire pit and s'mores were wonderful. Plenty of room for everyone. And, the property and river were so unique. What a great place. Super hosts (thanks Donna!).

Perfect Getaway

This was such a cool property that allowed privacy and comfort. The cabin was beautiful and came fully stocked with snacks, extra hygiene supplies, towels, and all that you would need for a weekend on the river. For a group of 12 guests everyone had plenty of room for sleeping as well as for relaxing. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking in this area. The hosts were easy to work with and so helpful with anything that was needed. Thank you again!!

The Bells

We were very impressed with all of the extras, like almost fully stocked kitchen to all the toys, games etc! Everyone enjoyed there stay! River access was a little tough but we got thru it. One thing we would really enjoy for future stays would be access to huzzah creek , gravel bars. It was very neat to be on the property reminiscing and telling stories! Lots of stories! Would definitely stay again. Would like to try fall sometime

Relaxing with nature.

The cabin was exactly as described...remote, clean and big. The screened porch was nice but we sat outside by the firepit most of the time, no mosquitos! We watched the yellow finches and multiple hummingbirds fly around. The walk to the beach was shaded and we loved looking for river rocks. Everyone we met on the river were friendly. I enjoy cooking our meals in the large kitchen with new oven and two refrigerators. But the nights were the best, outside around the fire, just visiting with my kids. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great secluded cabin!

Great secluded property. The cabin is very well stocked with everything you could need. Beds are comfortable. The second fridge in the kitchen is stocked with drinks and snacks provided by the host. Great screened in porch and beach/river access. Host responds quickly if needed. There was a storm that knocked out the power while we were there but we were comfortable. There is a land line phone which helped greatly. The cabin is awesome and beautifully restored. We plan to return in the future!
