The Neighborhood:
You'll be staying on a five acre lot right off road 426, providing extremely easy access to Bass Lake and the nearby towns of Bass Lake and Oakhurst. The close proximity to Yosemite National Park makes this a great launch pad for day trips, or stay behind and hang out at Bass Lake. Pine Slope Picnic Area overlooking the lake is just a 5 minute drive. Oakhurst and Coarsegold are nearby towns with modern conveniences such as grocery stores, local coffee shops, restaurants, and more.
Getting Around:
We suggest using your own vehicle to get around, though Uber and Lyft are available on busy weekends. You are more than welcome to walk, jog, or bike around the neighborhood! 4 wheel drive and tire chains are strongly encouraged during winter months, and may be required by California Highway Patrol if there's a large amount of snow. The roads can also get icy in the winter. The nearest Airport is Yosemite International Airport, located just an hour away.
