The property is well maintained and equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was a good assortment of beach gear. Access to the beach was great. Since it was off season it was pretty empty in the condo and on the beach.

As others have written, I too was impressed by the cleanliness of the condo, its proximity to the beach and having a good quantity of beach items (6 or more beach chairs, several umbrellas, a float, a fishing net, a blowup beach ball) at our disposal was really wonderful since we flew to Naples and couldn't bring those items with us. The fact that the beach is literally across the street is fabulous. I didn't even wear shoes most days so we weren't weighed down by stuff getting to the beach.Everything in the condo was in good condition and very comfortable. There were written directions about everything which made everything easy. The kitchen was well stocked which made meals for 6 easy. We had fairly strong storms on several days of our stay. One storm was so strong that it ripped the screening off the lanai!! I reported it promptly and a handyman came the next day to replace the screening. That is fast service. If I'm being picky, the price of the condo in August in Naples was high so I expected everything to be at our disposal. There were no paper towels, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, etc that would have made things perfect. There is also no workout facility in the building. Having said that, however, I would love to stay there again. It was perfect for our family.

We enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay! The location and condo was perfect. Due to the hurricane the hot top was not working so that was the only downside. We enjoyed the beach, pool and local restaurants.

Peaceful and Private

This is a beautiful place, wonderfully decorated, and peaceful! Beach was very quiet with easy access. The condo balcony was a terrific view of the inlet bay, sunrises and passing boats. The owner was easy for any communication and there were zero issues with anything from the condo. Lots of restaurants are close and the bigger part of Naples is not far. Was a 10 out of 10 for us!

Great Location

We were very satisfied with our stay at LaScala. It was what we expected and we were not disappointed. Lots of room, a great view from the balcony, and steps away from the pool and the beach. Lots of beach stuff as well. We would definitely recommend.

This third-floor unit is directly across from the elevator making access a breeze. Parking for two cars was provided. Our host let us know that a problem with the lock code developed but keys were provided. The unit was well stocked and very roomy--it easily accommodated all six of us comfortably on a poor weather day. The lanai was also very large and offered panoramic views of the bay side. The pool and hot tub were clean, beach access was right across the street, and a nice touch was the beech items (toys, chairs, umbrella, canopy) provided. When a bathroom pocket door fell off its track, the host had a handyman out the next day to fix it. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location & beautiful property!

I stayed at this property with my husband, 3 boys: ages 15, 20, & 21 and my mother. The condo was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was also decorated very nicely. It was in a great location with a small private pool, hot tub and beach directly across the street. It is located within a short easy drive of the popular shopping areas and restaurants. Owner was easy to communicate with as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Quick walk to the beach, plenty of beach items (beach towels, good chairs and easy to put up umbrella), tubes/noodles for floating, along with a volleyball and football. Easy building to navigate and quiet location just steps from the beach. The beach area wasn’t highly populated, which is exactly what we prefer. The condo was clean, master bed slept great and I was pleased to find that the washer/dryer was inside the condo. The owner was efficient in her communication as well. Don’t hesitate to book!

Beautiful,quiet location

Despite widespread hurricane damage that North Naples continues to recover and rebuild from, we had a wonderful stay for our first time in the area! We loved our direct bay access (saw dolphins, jelly fish, Sheepshead) and the ocean is right across the street and uncrowded in that location. There are many beach toys, chairs, etc for guests' enjoyment on the screened lanai. The building was quiet, even during the holidays (though the few people we met were very friendly) and our particular unit was large, extremely clean, and nicely decorated, with many thoughtful touches. Before you purchase paper supplies/silverware/shampoo/conditioner/body wash, check to see if stocked already--there are plenty of unused items in the kitchen and in both bathrooms that we found after we purchased those items (and ended up leaving our unopened items for the next lucky guests!) The pool was freezing, presumably due to the streak of unseasonable weather, but by the last day of our stay it was warm, clean, and lovely! Maria was very friendly and responsive and even discounted our stay for the non working elevator (likely hurricane related) with the condo being on 3rd floor. Taking the stairs was our only option and this is something to keep in mind if you or a guest is handicapped or otherwise physically disabled. We loved our experience and can't wait to return.

Advertised no damage to complex, though there was

The location is lovely and the apartment is furnished and decorated nicely. However, our concern was that we booked two months after Hurricane Ian and did so based on the ad "no damage to the condo or the complex". This was not a true representation. We paid the full amount upfront. A couple of weeks later, the owner/manager said that she just found out that the elevator was broken and that it might not be working when we arrive. She said that if we wanted to cancel, we would have to file an insurance claim or that she would give us a discount if we still wanted to come. Our travel insurance, like any others, is only for issues related to events that occur after a booking, not for an inaccurate listing. Prior to our arrival, I asked on three different occasions what the discount would be. I never got an answer, even when I told her that one of our party of four (people in our 70s) would not be able to come without the use of an elevator. Since we had already paid, we could not cancel. When we arrived, we learned that the elevator had not been in use since the hurricane in September and that it would not be repaired until after our stay. During our stay, I reached out to VRBO and told them that I couldn't get a response from the owner/manager regarding the discount and asked what remedy we would have. They contacted the owner and she finally offered a $300 refund, about 5% of what we paid for the rental. She again said we should try to file an insurance claim. I don't think what she offered was fair compensation but more importantly, we would not have booked this property in the first place had we known that we wouldn't have an elevator. The apartment is four stories up from the parking garage. With a vacancy following our stay, she continued to advertise no damage.

Thank you for booking our unit and glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. You inquired before your booking on November 26th, 2022 and knew the area had been hit with a hurricane. I stated to you that the condo had no damage and the property damage was almost completed. Our pool and spa was open. On December 6th I sent you updated long email with information that the beaches were open, one of the walkways by the condo was open and that the complex was waiting on the elevator inspection by the county and I could not give you a time line. It was a day by day wait and your response was that we will take up less loads at a time and deal with it. You knew before your arrival that the elevator was waiting on inspection. I only asked you once if you had travel insurance which is in the vrbo listing and in the paperwork so if you needed to cancel because you had another party in your group that may not go with you on your trip. I can't refund vrbo fees or the taxes once they have been paid thru vrbo. You booked at a discounted price due to the hurricane and I offered you some money back for your trouble. The elevator door in the garage had to be replaced and we were told 6-8 weeks and county inspection. The elevator was scheduled to be up and running by Thanksgiving. Southwest Florida was hit by a hurricane which all complexes were down with elevators and everyone was on the wait list. The condo did have people come in after your stay and we still have people there. The condo does not have damage or does the complex upon your arrival. The only issue that was not resolved on schedule was the elevator which is a problem all over Southwest Florida. Our elevator has been inspected and is up and running. Our complex is back 100% I never received an email from VRBO or a call that you were having issues contacting me. I was at the complex during your stay and was available at all times. I am sorry that you were unhappy with your booking. I am an honest person and I was upfront with you when I found out the elevator inspection was delayed. Thanks Again

Great place to stay

The building & area were fantastic. The access to the beach couldn't have been easier. the Host Maria did a great job communicating with us during the booking of the unit. The views of the intercoastal water from the 3rd floor were terrific. The only complaint we had during our entire stay was that the beds were very noisy, creaked and made strange sounds every time you moved. Otherwise, we were very happy!

Wonderful beach condo

We had a wonderful time at La Scala. Perfect location, you can be on the beach in seconds, with gorgeous views of the backwater. The apartment has everything you need including beach chairs and pool toys. The kids loved it and it felt like home. We can’t wait to go back.
