Hidden at the end of a meandering driveway ensconced in woods, moss, and stone outcroppings is a rustic farmhouse that was custom-built with lumber directly from the property on which it rests! Featuring high-end finishes, chef’s kitchen, Jotul woodstove, fire pit, and much more.

Halfway down a dead-end road, you will see a green street sign with the property address on your right-hand side that will direct you to a quarter-mile-long driveway. Along the driveway, you will pass a lumber mill on your right. At this point, you are officially on the property. Next, you will encounter green street signs denoting the Cabin on the right, followed by the Farmhouse up the hill. The Farmhouse has a parking area for 4 cars and keyless entry. A pin code will be provided to you before check-in.

Inside The Farmhouse you will experience Hudson River Valley Charm with exposed wood beams and mixed-plank hardwood floors. Voluminous picture windows bring the outdoors inside with plenty of light and picturesque scenes. The open-concept living space offers sufficient room to gather while maintaining a cozy feel. Enjoy family meals at the large dining table, prepared in a newly renovated chef’s kitchen with gas range plus pot filler, double ovens, warming drawers, and many built-ins and high-end appliances. Relax by the Jotul wood-burning stove with firewood that is provided or snuggle in the living room and enjoy the 65” 4K smart TV with Netflix included. Or if you prefer, have a meal outside on the three-tiered cedar deck with Weber grill. Following the stairs from the deck down the hill is a large fire pit with tree stump seating and access to a private trail that leads to the back of the property.

Every bedroom has a high-quality king or queen mattress and bedding, and a large 4k smart TV. If you need to get some work done or take a Zoom meeting, you will have high-speed 1 Gbps internet.

The best way to use public transportation to travel to the property from NYC is by bus. It is a 100-min ride to Saugerties Village center and then a 10-min Uber to the property.

*This property is well off a VERY QUIET dead-end road. Even though it is on 10+ acres, sound travels very easily. So please be mindful of noise. LOUD PARTIES ARE STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. Please no screaming, loud laughing, or amplified music after sunset. This rental is for quiet groups that come to the mountains to relax, rest, enjoy nature. Please observe quiet hours from 10pm - 8am.
*Vacationing in the woods is great for the soul...but not for cell-phone service. Thankfully, almost all smart phones have a "WIFI CALLING" feature. This must be turned on, unless you relish being "off the grid."
*You will encounter plenty of wildlife. Please be careful driving as the deer can be bold. Also there are black bears in the area so NEVER LEAVE FOOD OR DRINK UNATTENDED OUTSIDE or they might pay you a visit.
*The meandering driveway is about a quarter-mile long and gets narrow and hilly at times. Please take your time.
*In heavy snow, driving conditions may require 4-wheel drive. The roads and long narrow driveway are hilly, however, they are typically well-plowed early in the morning.
*There is a cabin on the property that is also an active rental. It is situated at the bottom of the hill for maximum privacy. Please be aware that the driveway is shared so DO NOT BLOCK.
