Welcome to Vernon Oaks Savannah — a private waterfront retreat where coastal luxury, relaxation and Southern charm come together just minutes from Savannah's Historic District.



Set on two private acres with approximately 250 feet of frontage along the Vernon River, Vernon Oaks offers sweeping water views and unforgettable sunsets from throughout the property. Spend your days by the saltwater pool, unwind in the hot tub, or settle onto one of the home's expansive balconies as the sun sets over the river.



Towering live oaks frame the property, including Vern, our magnificent live oak named for the Vernon River he overlooks. Estimated to be more than 350 years old, Vern greets you as you arrive and sets the tone for this remarkable waterfront setting.



The home unfolds across three spacious levels, offering families and groups plenty of room to gather while still providing comfortable spaces to retreat.



The ground level features a studio apartment with modern finishes, full kitchen, combined living and sleeping area, and washer and dryer, along with an additional 1st floor private bedroom and fitness room. For reservations of 13 or 14 guests, the fitness room is converted into an additional sleeping room with a bed, allowing Vernon Oaks to comfortably accommodate up to 14 overnight guests. Gym equipment is still in place and usable if desired.



The main level is the heart of the home, with a spacious living room and fireplace opening to the kitchen and ample dining space for all guests. Two bedrooms are located on this level, each with its own private full bath. You'll also find a powder room, laundry room and access to outdoor spaces overlooking the grounds and Vernon River.



The upper level features two bedrooms, including the expansive owner's suite. The owner's suite offers two private balconies, a wet bar with mini refrigerator, walk-in closet, lighted tray ceiling and a three-sided fireplace shared with the en-suite bath. The bath features double vanities, a lighted mirror, jetted soaking tub and an oversized shower with multiple shower heads.



Outside, the saltwater pool and hot tub overlook the river beneath a canopy of mature live oaks. Multiple balconies and outdoor gathering areas provide plenty of places for morning coffee, an afternoon by the water or drinks as the sun goes down. As evening settles in, gather around the fire pit, enjoy the river breeze or simply take in the quiet of two private waterfront acres.



Smart TVs are provided throughout the home, and guests can enjoy a selection of indoor and outdoor games during their stay.



When you're ready to explore, Savannah's restaurants, nightlife, architecture and historic squares are just minutes away, with Tybee Island an easy drive from the property and the Historic District only approximately 10 minutes from the home.



At Vernon Oaks, you don't have to choose between a Savannah getaway and a relaxing waterfront escape. You can have both!
