This was the cutest coziest place!! Having a private beach was amazing. The extras were a wonderful surprise. We've never had so many personal touches added to a vacation rental. We will return!!! You won't be disappointed!!

MOST AWESOME TIME!

This is the best spot for a vacation! It's absolutely beautiful, and has literally everything you could possibly need. The hosts are FANTASTIC! And if you need anything they are very responsive. The location can not be beat. It's far enough from the public beach to be pretty secluded and like your own private spot. I honestly can't say enough good things about the Lost Loon, and we'll be back again, and again, and again!

Amazing Place

Truly enjoyed our stay at this place. Clean, very well stocked, unbeatable location. Owners went through great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed and our stay was great. We look forward to booking this property again in the future for sure.!

Great Stay

Second time staying at Janine’s place. Love the proximity to beach, comfort and amenities. Jeanine is a great and accommodating host. Highly recommend her place. A small hidden gem.

Cutest little cottage

We enjoyed our two weeks stay here. It is about 10 houses down from Manasota Beach and just about far enough that people don’t come and sit in your space. There is plenty of room to spread out. Parking can be kind of tight but is manageable. The inside is really cute. Beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit.

Beautiful cottage right on the beach

Lost Loon is an incredible cottage right on the beach! It is so well equipped and decorated…. all you need is a toothbrush and a bathing suit. The views of the beach and the gulf from the room were awesome and even more incredible from the beach. The sunsets were spectacular as always. The host Janine was great she made sure everything was perfect for our stay. We would definitely come back to Lost Loon!

Slice of heaven

Perfection in every way. Amazing property that the pictures can't do it justice. Property was well maintained with lots of little touches. Perfect size for our family of four. Outdoor patio area was gla great place to eat and take a break from the beach. Owners were great and made us feel at home throughout our stay. Already trying to plan it out next trip back

BEST Vacation Spot!

Highly recommend this place for an awesome, relaxing vacation! We come to this exact same cottage often and honestly can't get enough. It has everything you could possibly need (beach towels, soaps, shampoo, cream rinse, sunscreen, beach chairs, umbrella, sand and outside toys. inside games, stocked kitchen including seasonings, and non-perishable stuff, and even a full-size washer/drying with laundry soap and fabric softener. And if that's not enough, the hosts are awesome and extremely responsive to any request! You will not go wrong booking a vacation at this cottage. On the other hand - it's best if you don't book any vacations at this cottage, so it's always open for me. Just kidding - you'll love it - I promise!!

What a view!

From the first walk into the cottage, you see a wonderful view! The house was beautiful and super clean. Everything was there. You are steps to the beach and we saw turtles and found shark teeth all over. You cant beat the location for a quiet, private beach vacation.The communication was excellent with the owners.Wifi kept going in and out but we are not there for that.Overall, PERFECTION !!!!

Lost Loon is Fantastic

Lost Loon is a great beach house and I would highly recommend staying there. The house is beautiful and is equipped with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The beach is only a few steps away. The view of the Gulf of Mexico from the house and patio is unbelievable! The attention to detail in the home and on the patio is fantastic. We spent most of our waking hours on the beach or on the patio. The patio wraps around the back and sides of the house and is equipped with very comfortable furniture and loungers. One of the highlights is the big outdoor table where we ate all our meals and played games at night. A beautiful tree provides shade during the day and is full of beautiful lights at night! This place is a gem. We loved every minute of our vacation at Lost Loons.

Lost Loon is heaven on earth!

Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us! We had such a great time. The moment we stepped inside the cottage we immediately felt a warm, cozy vibe. It’s right on the Gulf of Mexico, so the views are spectacular! Literally steps to the beach and water. It was so nice having everything we needed stocked, from shampo/conditioner, paper towels & toilet paper to spices, olive oil, snacks and bottled water. The large beach towels, sunscreen, beach chairs and umbrella were great for lounging on the patio and for sitting on the beach.We went to the Braves Spring Training camp to watch the Braves vs. Red Sox one day. It was a great time and only took us about 15 mins to get to the park.We went to Cassariano in Venice for dinner 2 nights because it was SO incredibly delicious! We can’t wait to come back to Lost Loon again in the future.Thank you again for such a memorable vacation!

Amazing stay!

The Lost Lagoon was amazing. They have everything you need from going to the beach to cooking in the kitchen. Everything in the was top quality bedding, blankets, towels etc. Views are amazing from living room and making dinner. 2nd time there and they won’t disappoint. Strongly recommend.
