This cabin is custom built - cedar siding, has a Fire Pit, and a HOT TUB. Listen to birds as you enjoy a hot cup of coffee in a rocking chair. With FOUR large bedrooms (2x king beds, 1 queen, 2 twins + 2 doubles) there's plenty of space for time with friends and family.

We recently stayed at this property for five nights with a group of eight people. While there were some positives—the location was great, the house was spacious, the hot tub was enjoyable, we even got to see bears nearby, and the host was responsive—our overall experience was very disappointing.The biggest issue was a major leak that made one of the showers completely unusable. The leak was severe enough that it damaged our personal belongings, including a cell phone and a Bluetooth speaker. For a vacation rental, this is simply unacceptable.The cleanliness and maintenance of the home were also well below expectations. There were large cobwebs throughout the house, the front porch and back patio were filthy, and we had to clean patio furniture before using it. We even had to leaf blow the front porch ourselves because of the amount of debris. Unfortunately, one of our guests slipped and fell on the stairs due to the debris that had not been cleared. The refrigerator showed the filter needs to be replaced. And blinds had layers of caked on dust. Ceiling fans need to be dusted as they had dust falling when turned on. The house has several safety concerns, especially for families with children. There were holes in the walls, holes in the flooring, broken floor tiles, warped and bowing floors, and damaged glass wall décor that we removed ourselves to prevent our children from being injured. Mountain Getaway

Our family had an enjoyable time together at this mountain getaway. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds, the dining area accommodated all of us, & bathrooms were nice. The proximity to area sites was perfect.

Very well decorated but lacking comfort

Booked for big football weekend. Pictures look way better than actual conditions. No welcome basket, warped floors, low water pressure, loose bathroom fixtures, water damage smell, lack of towels, no view. Beds were comfortable. Super cute decorating and style but style did not overcome the general deficiencies.

Conveniently located home

This home is conveniently located, had lots of room and a nice front porch to drink your coffee in the mornings. For the most part the home was clean but The floors were not as clean as they should have been. We found it inconvenient that we could only leave 2 bags of trash for our entire stay or we would be charged unless we took the trash to the landfill ourselves. Overall it was a good house.

We had issues with no hot water. Seem to be an issue with the faucets. Only warm water in faucets, cold showers. Just a suggestion, maybe a dust to dawn light. Also, have some melting salt in winter conditions. We were there in snow and steps were very slippery.

The property was very clean inside, but the outside was covered in mud. The property manager did give me a heads up a few hours before I arrived, but that doesn’t make up for it being so dirty we couldn’t enjoy the outside area. I wanted to grill but the grill was covered in fuzzy green mold and was unsanitary. The water pressure was erratic and very low. We weren’t able to use the upstairs bathrooms very easily. There were also a group of workers at the property when we arrived after our long drive. We had to wait for them to pack up and leave before we could enter. Despite all of this we still had a fun weekend but we will not be staying at this property again.

The property to start with had French fries in the front yard when we arrived.Yard debris on entry steps and front porch. There were cob webs inside especially in the kitchen. Water filter in refrigerator indicated needed to be replaced. Keurig displayed needed descaling. We could only produce 2 bags of trash or we would be charged $10 per extra bag. Will never stay here again.

Was as expected

6 adults and 4 children stayed for three nights during December. It is in a rural setting, and although very brown and messy outside due to the weather, it’s probably gorgeous the rest of the seasons. A steep driveway makes it a challenge to go up and down when icy or snowy conditions exist, which we experienced. Fortunately, we had AWD on our vehicle. Inside was comfortable and spacious. Nice large dining table for all to eat at and play board games. The kids loved their room! Bunk beds and two twins with plenty room to play. The hot tub was a treat, and although it took some time to get up to the right temperature, it warmed to the bone while the surrounding temperature was in the twenties. All in all, we had a good time and would book again but not during the winter months. Those families coming up to ski or snowboard for a few days would find it a good place to stay, as it is conveniently located to those areas. Lastly, Mike, our host, was quick to respond to all our questions and was a gracious host. Thanks, Mike
