This secluded 2700 sq ft 3BR 3BA log cabin home features 2 story decks with some of the best views in Ashe County. When you’re not out exploring the local hiking trails, river tubing, or enjoying the local wineries/breweries, take advantage of the full arcade room featuring classic games. If staying in is your thing, relax in the hot tub or take in the gorgeous mountain views with plenty of outdoor seating and amenities.


Quiet Mountain gated community. Only 5 houses on a total of 38 acres. Lots of local wildlife that live here on the property. Basketball court and kids playground within walking distance.


Open concept living room with French doors leading to the upper deck and beautiful mountain views. Large dining area for family dinners and a fully stocked kitchen if cooking and hosting is on the agenda. For the coffee drinkers, there is a Keurig and drip coffee pot combo.


3 spacious bedrooms located on the first and third floors. Master bedroom, with private full bathroom, is located on the third floor (loft). The first floor (downstairs) houses one Queen bedroom and a bunkroom with twin bunks and full bunks (4 total beds). There is also a full bathroom on this floor as well. If you need additional sleeping space, there is a small pullout outside the main bedroom of the loft area. Please note that main access door to the cabin brings you in to the second floor. While there is a full bathroom on this floor, there is no bedroom on the main level!


Entertainment – Large 70” Smart TV in the living room with streaming services (you will use your personal login). Smart TV’s in the master bedroom and guest queen bedroom. Large home arcade area with a pool table, foosball, darts, skeeball, a few classic arcade games and large flatscreen TV. Large comfy bean bags for hanging out on rainy days. A few steps out the doors, you are relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the mountain views!


The house has a paved driveway with easy year-round access. 4x4 is recommended throughout the whole region when there is winter precipitation.


Conveniently located 25 minutes to downtown Boone and ski resorts, 12 minutes to Elk Knob State Park and many more activities just minutes away. Explore the neighboring towns of West Jefferson, Vilas, Boone, and Blowing Rock.


This cabin is in a rural area. Nearest convenience store is 15 minutes away and nearest grocery store is 25 minutes away. You should plan to bring, at the least, your first nights groceries and favorite beverages with you.


Please note there is no bedroom on the main floor. Access to all bedrooms requires stairs.


We do not have trash pickup service at the cabin. While we will handle up to two bags, please take anything additional to the local recycling center before you leave. Please note that they are closed on Sundays.
