Beautiful home with lots of space and stunning views of the ocean. Easy walk to.the beach, approx 1 mile into cute downtown Manzanita with great shops and food.

Lovely multi-generational stay at The View House

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The View House worked very well for our multi-generational family reunion (ages 9 to 81). We really enjoyed the fabulous ocean views from nearly every room, and there was plenty of room for our large group to be close together for family time and meals/games or be spread out for quiet time. The kitchen was well laid out for all our cooking, and it was very handy to have an additional refrigerator and stove on the lower level. We especially liked renting from a local company, having a real person to talk to, and feeling confident we would receive rapid assistance if we needed it. We enjoyed our time at The View House and we look forward to our next stay there!

Multi-generational Family Week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our biggest recommendation is to get a new mattress in the downstairs en suite bedroom! The family members assigned to that room could not sleep comfortably in that lumpy bed all week. Disappointing because the rest of the experience and home were of such high quality, it was a little surprising. Otherwise, the home is in the most stunning location and a great layout for multiple generations. House was clean and in excellent condition. Management was very responsive.

This was a family gathering with adult children coming from other parts of the country, and ages ranging from early 40s to almost 80. Having a master on the main floor was essential for us older folks. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out but it would have been even better if the downstairs area had a seating area instead of just the bunk beds and two bean bags. We cooked in every night and it was nice to have such a large space where we could all cook and eat together. Lots of memories made around the table. There were a few things that didn't work but they were clearly labeled (the ice maker in the freezer and the jetted tub in the master). We enjoyed the deck several afternoons because the view was amazing - drawbacks were the blasting sun (even at the coast!) and the lack of a table or regular chairs. None of us could get in or out of the Adirondack-type chairs so we pulled camp chairs out for the duration. It would have been nice to have something for shade - perhaps that is something the owners can consider for the future. Overall - questions and suggestions we had were promptly responded to, and we ended up with an absolutely lovely week with our kids.

Beautiful home, great view, clean, and communication with Sunset to Sunset rentals was very good. Much better than the previous rental company in Manzanita. We would definitely stay there again!

Fantastic View and location

House and views were beautiful. Location was perfect for our family vacation. Close to beach and hiking without all the crowds. I would highly recommend it.

Incredible views!

Fantastic views from the home and wonderful location in Manzanita! The home could use a bit of restocking in the kitchen and some new linens but we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the interactions with Sunset to Sunset!

The Perfect Multi-Generational Family Vacation

Our group of 11 included three generations, with teenagers, and preschoolers who still needed naps. The layout of the house was absolutely perfect for our family. One of our favorite features was that the home’s design provided beautiful ocean views from every room. Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or relaxing by the fireplace in the evening, we always felt connected to the beach and the scenery. Even the bedrooms have ocean views!The home was also ideal for entertaining. We hosted a large family dinner with five other families who were vacationing in the area, and there was more than enough room for everyone to gather comfortably. The kitchen, dining, and living areas flowed together beautifully, making it easy to cook, visit, and enjoy the evening together.We also appreciated the large two-car garage and the ample parking, which made coming and going with a large group incredibly convenient.The only minor downside was that we found the beds a bit less comfortable than we had hoped. Mattress comfort is very personal, so others may have a different experience, but it was the only aspect of an otherwise wonderful stay.If you’re visiting the area, we highly recommend stopping by the Neahkahnie Smoke House. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Our group loved the town of Manzanita with the little grocery store, shops and restaurants. We made so many special memories here and would absolutely recommend this home to anyone—especially large or multi-generational families looking for a spacious, well-designed home with spectacular ocean views.
