Experience the laid-back Outer Banks lifestyle at this comfortable, family-friendly home, ideally located just a few blocks from the beach. Highlights include a fully enclosed backyard, a private pool, and a partially covered deck where you can bask in the ocean breeze. When you want to explore, you’re within walking distance of restaurants, shops, cafés, and bars, and easy driving distance of natural areas, grocery stores, and the Wright Brothers National Memorial.

At home, spend your time enjoying the backyard and having cookouts on the gas grill while the kids play in the pool. Upstairs on the balcony, there’s a hammock in the sun with your name on it. Inside, you’ll find a wide-open living space, high ceilings, and cheerful coastal decor. The family chef can make mealtime magic in the well-equipped kitchen, and there’s plenty of space to dine around the breakfast bar and pretty blue high-top table.

When you’re not playing in the pool or taking one of the adult-size bikes out for a spin, grab a spot on the soft leather sectional to stream the latest release or watch a movie on the DVD player. Complimentary WiFi, central air conditioning, and a washer/dryer round out the vacation necessities. At bedtime, four serene sanctuaries promise a restful night’s sleep, but don’t call it a night before one last toast out on the balcony to booking the perfect OBX escape.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
2 days notification is required in order to heat the pool. A fee of USD 60 per day must be paid prior to check-in to purchase pool heat for your stay.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

One of the best properties in NC

We frequent this town for multiple offshore fishing trips out of Oregon Inlet and this property is the cleanest and best kept rental we have ever stayed in. Super clean, well kept with great layout, roomy spaces, and functional kitchen. Pool heater was not activated and/or working, however I would absolutely return. The profile and pics actually represent the property. Highly recommended.

Good but could have been better

Our stay at “Killin’ Time” was good. The house was nice, it had plenty of beds, a pool, and other basic amenities needed for our stay. But, there were also some other things that were promised in the property description that were not true. First of all, the property was supposed to be smoke free and upon our arrival we went straight to the backyard to check out the pool and fire pit, and to our surprise we found a full pack of cigarette butts and the box in the fire pit just left there; not something you like to see. Also, there was supposed to be a pool table and ping pong table, which would have been perfect for the unfortunate rainy day we had, but instead there was a foosball table that was broken previous to our arrival. Based off the pictures and the property description there was going to be bikes for use, but only 2 of the 4 bikes were in working order. There was also a hammock on the front deck that was ripped and unable to be used. The trip as a whole was great and the house was perfect for our group, but would have been better if everything that was promised was available for use.

Falsely advertised, destroyed upon arrival, and filthy inside and out.

We bought a coffee pot and washcloths bc advertised but not there. 3out of 4 bikes were broken No pool table No ping pong table Bunk beds unstable/unsafe Cigarette butts everywhere ( non-smoking) Only 1 lounge chair at the pool, 1 broken Weeds around the pool area and climbing through steps Floors were dirty We replaced and cleaned two air filters one tub in didn’t drain Shower curtain was moldy Master shower mold and mildew present No air flow downstairs in the bedroom from the vent -none! Broken fence Grass needed cutting The hammock was dangerous, completely broken Sanitary napkin, battery,and dried fruit under the futon Couches and pillows had dog hair all over them No cleaning supplies for kitchen or bathrooms 1 kitchen towel Large trash cans were full of old garbage House was inadequate. I was in constant communication with company sending over 70 pictures with no positive outcome.

Feels like home

This vacation home is in a perfect location. The house was very nice and our kids enjoyed that they got the room downstairs. The bedrooms were a good size. The master bedroom was beautiful and the bathroom/shower was big. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The house felt like home. It's a great size for a larger family. We were 10 people and never felt crowded. The pool was great for a lazy, chill day. The beach is a short walk away or you could drive there. There was little to no parking at the beach across from the house. There are so many different restaurants near and there is a lot to do in the area.
