Close to the beach. Plenty of space. Well suited to a four day weekend and enjoying more space than a hotel. Well suited for families and friends to gather and spend time. Close to all the fun things in San Diego. Would stay here again.

The house is lovely. The yard is perfectly maintained and gorgeous. It was perfect for my husband and I traveling with our dog. The location is fantastic. We’ll be back!

This property is in such a great location! La Jolla beaches are beautiful. It was perfect for our family of 5. Plenty of couches, tables and chairs for seating and placing luggage. We cooked in the kitchen most nights and had everything we needed to cook. We are really happy with our stay.

Beautiful backyard. Very, very clean house. Street parking, we thought on property, but no problem with street parking.Only complaint was no garbage disposal. We were doing lots of food prep for granddaughter.

Great place!

This is our second time staying here and we will be back. Location is perfect walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Check in was so easy and property manager responds super fast.

Great location near the beach in Vintage Cottage

Vacation after Sheep

The place was perfect. Location was ideal We loved how close the ocean was everything anybody would need was less than a block away! Our dogs 🐶 love the yard!! Would stay again!

La Jolla Weekend

The home has plenty of room and a nice fenced backyard. The rates were very reasonable for La Jolla and the location was excellent. Check-in process was very smooth. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to anyone going to La Jolla.

Nice house close to beach

Over all we liked the place. Easy walking distance to the beach and a few restaurants. Nice small back yard for pets to sit outside. Fully fenced.

Quaint place

Overall great location- convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping. Loved having the nice backyard- enjoyed outdoor dining and relaxation. Street parking was not convenient and often had difficulty finding a space. Property is smaller than pics make it look. And important to recall there is no A/C. It met our needs, was clean, and we had an enjoyable stay!

You're absolutely right that parking can be more challenging around the 4th of July, as it's one of the busiest times of year in this popular beach community. We always do our best to set expectations and appreciate your understanding during such a high-traffic holiday. The home is thoughtfully laid out, though as with many beach properties, the cozy footprint can sometimes appear a bit larger in photos. We also note in the listing that there is no A/C, but we make sure the home is well-ventilated with ceiling fans and windows that catch the coastal breeze. Thank you again for choosing our home for your holiday stay—we’re so glad it met your needs and that you had an enjoyable time!

Perfect vacation home

Our family could not have asked for a better stay. The house has everything you need and more (washer/dryer, propane grill, plenty of towels and linens, all the cookware and dishes you could need, etc.)! The location is fantastic! An easy walk to Windansea beach and easy drive to anywhere you want to go in San Diego. There is a grocery store a block away and lots of shops and restaurants with in easy walking distance. Our pups enjoyed sunning in the beautiful backyard and we are all our meals on the patio. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute home in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Backyard patio area is a great place to hang out. Beds were comfortable and although there is no a/c, an abundance of windows and doors allow for a breeze and kept the place comfortable.

We loved our stay. The house embodies its 1950’s circa beach town architecture. It’s spacious with lots of options to hang out. The kitchen was adequately stocked for staying cooking. The backyard was great with multiple seating areas and a corn hole was a daily event. Having the beach chairs and umbrellas was really nice along with the several block walk to two beaches and tide pools. It was quite warm during our stay and the home does not have a/c so the fans were necessary and appreciated. We contacted the property management company with questions prior to arrivalAs well as to replace a fan and they responded very promptly in all instances. We would definitely stay again.
