Historic old northeast neighborhood home just 10 minute walk to downtown St Pete

This guest spent the first week telling us that our place was charming and wonderful. Not a single complaint. A week later, he said he wanted an early checkout. He came to Florida during peak pollen season with asthma and COPD and apparently he had an acute event and wanted to go home. We offered what we have in the past to guests who need to cancel last minute or cut short their stay with us… a promise to honor a stay at either of our two properties in the future. This has always been an acceptable option as guests understand that we have missed potential bookings when they cancel or need to leave early. This guest’s immediate response was not to negotiate with us … we may have agreed to the refund if given a chance—but to become aggressive and threaten us. Suddenly our “charming home” was “dirty.” He told us that he had sued people in the past and won. We were shocked and chose to ignore his harassing messages and instead reported him to VRBO. We’ve been VRBO homeowners for close to fifteen years with stellar reviews at both of our properties as well as many repeat guests. Read our reviews for this property. All ten are 10/10.
