Truly one of the best vacations we have had on the island! The house was beautiful, clean and incredibly well appointed. The views were amazing. David and Julie were great in helping us get in to the house and situated. There was one minor issue with one of the air conditioners, but they were quick to get it taken care of. We are already planning on scheduling again next year.

Thompson Family Trip

We loved the Rotunda. The views are amazing. We were also glad the property had a generator as the island experienced a few power outages while we were there. We had ten adults and two children under three. Tara arranged for the private vans and water taxi to take our family from the St. John airport to the Rotunda, food to be at the house before our arrival, baby toys and high chairs to be at the house, a private chef for the first and last night of the stay, and a sunset cruise. Dave arranged for three rental cars to be at the house when we arrived. Julie also put us in touch with "Chico" who drove our whole gang back and forth to dinner every night. We plan on returning in the future.

Magical!

This was our second stay at Villa Rotunda, and was somehow better than the last time?! They've made lots of improvements to the property (not that it was shabby beforehand!), but much appreciated! Especially the two washers and dryers... amazing what a difference that makes! Peter Bay has the best views on the entire island, so it's hard to leave the house. But when you do, the proximity to the island's best beaches and Cruz Bay is really appreciated. It is SO GORGEOUS there!!!! Everyone was very comfortable in their rooms, and everywhere else on the property. This is a very special place.

Better than Expected (and expected a lot)

I have stayed at many VRBO homes in great places, none as all around 5 stars as this. The owners were responsive and excellent. I mean, we even got the same photo of the rainbows for ourselves. The property was spotless and the amenities were great. It is likely not the last time we stay.

Amazing home

We booked this home for our family and friends during our wedding week on St. John. Everyone was blown away. Excellent communication with management and amenities were above and beyond. We loved spoiling our family with this property and were jealous we didn't stay there ourselves. We definitely snuck over to hang by the pool with them as much as possible. Very special stay with so many thoughtful details and luxuries. And the views.... best on St. John.

Amazing house, location, and hosts

The pictures do not do the property justice--it was amazing! It was a great location close to the North Shore beaches and the sunset views and property itself exceeded expectations. The hosts were great, and provided lots of help and helpful information throughout our stay.

AMAZING!!

Villa Rotunda is absolutely amazing. Our group of 8 people varied in ages from 5 to 50 and this house perfectly fit everyone - plenty of space to spread out and beautiful common areas to gather. The pictures don't do it justice - the view is absolutely breathtaking. Upper Peter Bay is the perfect location - easy drive to Cruz Bay and just up the hill from Trunk Bay. The house was well equipped and very clean. It really was the perfect vacation!

Great place!!

Everything met and exceeded our expectations. The property was magnificent and the location was perfect. Roads were a little difficult but we overcame that. The property was superb. The price was high but was worth every penny. Great! Great! Great! If you can afford this place then don’t hesitate and book it!! Word of mouth is everything and I say it is awesome. Please trust me !!!

Gorgeous Home with a Gorgeous View

Our stay at Rotunda over Thanksgiving with our family was a dream come true. The house is just gorgeous with a view that is absolutely spectacular. The home worked out perfectly for us with our children and grandchildren. There is plenty of space to be together…and plenty of space for privacy when desired. The pool and outdoor spaces are so lovely and inviting. We also appreciated all of the amenities the owners graciously share with their guests including beach towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, games, pool floats, etc. The kitchen is truly a chef’s dream, and all of the en suite bedrooms was just perfect. We made memories at this stunning home that will last a lifetime.

Memorable stay on St. John's

We have five couples and could not have been happier. Beautiful home and property. Highlights include spacious rooms and shared spaces; mesmerizing views; fun swimming pool; large kitchen and outside grill with all necessary tools; location is great with short drives to Trunk, Cinnamon and Maho among others and a 10-15 min cab ride to Cruz Bay restaurants; Dave gave helpful directions for cabs to ferry on St. Thomas, cabs on island and advance provisioning. Love the Rotunda!!!

Fantastic in every way

We had 5 couples all together for this lovely trip! The house was the perfect amount of space with everything you could need/want. We had a couple bottles of wine, a bag of ice and a yummy charcuterie board upon arrival. We spent most nights in the pool watching the sunset, which is a must! Perfect distance to great variety of beaches and the property manager was quick to reply/help when we needed anything. We all want to stay here again! Thank you Rotunda!

Perfection!

We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs over the years, and this is the only one that was EXACTLY as depicted! The villa is simply breathtaking... the design and layout of the house is perfect for two families. We also have never experienced such attentive service...the house manager was incredibly responsive and super helpful. We want to come back EVERY YEAR!!!

Unforgettable stay

Our extended family of 12 stayed at Rotunda for 5 nights in January. The property is amazing…. Very true to photos and description. Lots of outdoor, dining, and indoor living space for everyone, with breathtaking views at every turn. The kitchen was recently renovated ( huge), which explains the lack of kitchen staples ( condiments etc). House manager David met us promptly in Cruz Bay and took us through the house room by room. He was very helpful and responsive . As far as accessibility to private Peter Bay beach, we were warned and disappointed. Rough road and trail down, with no parking available on our first day. Other North Shore beaches are close and beautiful. The villa pool is great, but a little cool during our stay. Pool toys, snorkel equipment… everything you could need. We Highly recommend Rotunda… you’ll never forget your stay.

Breathtaking views of Trunk Bay

Our group of 10 adults enjoyed the incredible grounds and views of Villa Rotunda. The pictures accurately reflect the Villa. There were some maintenance issues that need attention and were not communicated before our arrival( oven didn’t work; broken toilet and no door in apartment).

Incredible estate

The Rotunda was a beautiful estate with plenty of room for large family vacation. The views overlooking Trunk Bay were so breathtaking that I can’t imagine finding a better place in the world to spend a vacation. David and Julie were very attentive to our needs.
