Farm House with 30 acres with river access and a POOL

Our beautiful home has all the amenities you could need for a peaceful vacation, a home away from home. This home has access to 30 acres for hunting and fishing. As well as direct access to the Canisteo river. We have three kayaks on the property for recreational use. We also have a large pool with an inviting pergola to optimize your relaxation and sunbathing experience (opens May 20 - closes september 5). As well as a horseshoe pit and bad mitten set up. There is inside and outside seating to optimize any event! There is no cell service, however, due to our wifi capabilities you are able to sign in and and still utilize your phones. We as the hosts provide one set of linens per guest, however, we do not provide pool towels. We also provide cooking utensils and kitchen ware within the property but this does not include food, beverages or perishables so please come prepared with your favorite coffee to put into the provided coffee maker.

We strive for your comfort and relaxation. We are also within close proximity to many Wine trails, corning museum of glass and other exceptional experiences to visit during your vacation.

Our only request it to please leave our beautiful home how you found it. Please remember our estate is in the country and although it is breathtaking here there is, naturally, nature’s presence. So don’t leave food outside overnight. Also Don’t forget your bug repellent. We are looking forward to you booking your “home away from home” experience.

"Forest House" on the Railway

My family and I stayed at this home for a long weekend. It was clean and fairly comfortable. There were toys for the kid and plenty of space. Cons: the train runs right in front of the house and constantly (including middle of the night), shaking the house while blowing the whistle; very disruptive especially for the kid (and therefore, the adults). The kitchen was not stocked with ANYTHING except some paper towels and dish soap. We had to buy everything (salt and pepper, cooking oil, etc.); it would have been nice to at least have coffee to accompany the provided coffee maker on the counter, especially after the interrupted sleep we had with the train. We were given JUST enough towels/linens for 1 day, no extras for additional days, so we did laundry 2 days out of the 3 days we stayed. Since we were in-and-out a lot, we didn't contact the host. We also didn't get use out of the pool but the space looked lovely and inviting. Over all it was an OK stay.

Relaxing family trip

Beautiful farmhouse with a ton of space. Pool was so great in the 90 degree heat, and the AC was a plus. We were really grateful for the baby items available (high chair, pack and play, walker), it was a huge perk! Owner was extremely responsive and helpful. Our only challenge was that we weren't prepared with our own dish soap, dish sponge, paper towels, garbage bags, or Kleenex. We are used to staying at properties that provide a minimal amount of these things but only toilet paper and hand soap were provided. This isn't a deal breaker by any means, however since we weren't prepared, we scrambled for the first day and a half to get to the store for all these things. I just wish the listing was explicit in that guests should be sure to bring those items along. Overall though, we had a wonderful stay.

It was great!

The property was well maintained and clean! The pool was a great perk! Our only little issue was when the description said “linens included” we thought that meant pool towels also so we did not bring our own. I was glad to find the Dollar General was close by! I ran over there to buy a few towels to use for the pool. Other than that everything was good! Hope we can visit again!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home lots of fun activities and toys for the kids, owners were very nice and quick to respond when we had questions. Had a great time! Definitely staying again!

A serene long weekend

We loved our stay in the farm house with family on 4th of July long weekend. It’s a peaceful home, we loved the pool and peaceful vibe. Kids enjoyed a lot. Would recommend this house to my friends. Thanks Cecelia for hosting us :)

Lovely stay

Property and location were simply wonderful. Very welcoming feel and comfortable for all guests. Spent most of our time sitting outside enjoying the scenery. Would definitely stay again.

Very happy with rental

Enjoyed the mature landscape, clean property and comfortable home. My kids enjoyed the volleyball net, and open green space. Too cold to swim but pool and entertaining space were very nice. Only small draw back was location in proxicimity to the train tracks. Train came though all hours of the day/night very fast and loud horns.

Amazing property

We had a great time at this place. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We couldn’t get enough of the pool and patio- such a great spot to hang out. Plus, the badminton setup was a fun bonus. Totally recommend for a fab stay.

Great Stay

We had a small group of family stay for a long weekend. We loved playing badminton and using the pool! We were able to take the kayaks out across the road to do a short float trip.

A very nice rural property

The home is in a beautiful location close to Bath, NY. The residence was very clean and the property well maintained. Perfect for families. We enjoyed our stay.

Great For family

Our stay was great, the house was cool, clean and homey and the grounds are well kept and amazing. The pool was clean and pool deck comfortable. There were a lot of toys and games for all ages both inside and outside. There are floaties for the pool and floatation devices for the kayaks. I would've liked to know that there are train tracks right outside, that the lake was across the tracks and that the pool is shallow and not heated. Also, there is wifi but no cell service. Even so, our stay was relaxing and comfortable and we made use of the wonderful grounds, went kayaking in the lake, made s'mores over the fire pit and had a great time. Also, the owners are very responsive and gracious ! I accidentally left something there and they offered to mail it to me! I would recommend a stay here!

Nice location while in the area for a family reunion

Very nice for families travelling with young children. There were a lot of toys provided and room for them to run. Since it was a quick trip, it is very convenient to have the small market within walking distance. We were able to order pizza and subs when we arrived. The pool was clean and the propery is very pretty. Since we have family in the area, it was convenient for them to stop in the evening for a visit on the large back patio. Plenty of parking also. We hope to stay again.

Large Home with Many Amenities in Beautiful Rural New York

I stayed at this rental for two nights in late July with 3 friends and my partner. We really enjoyed the pool and the outdoor space generally, the proximity to basically all Finger Lakes attractions (within about 1.5 hours from our furthest point of interest), and the large indoor space as well which provided ample opportunity for both alone time and time with the group (and was also impeccably clean)! I would definitely book this rental again, but preferably for a longer period so there would be time for both doing different activities in the area and spending more substantial time in the house, on the porch, in the back field, and in the pool! (:

it coulvdve been cleaner and the beds/sheets were bad, we also thought from the listing that river access meant it was on the property- not sure if I misread it. Other than those things it was very relaxing and enjoyable stay

Great!

We had a wonderful stay! We were provided with everything we could have needed. There are air conditioners and TVs in every room, which was a nice addition. Plenty enough room for a gathering. Super comfy stay and will definitely be here again on our next trip to Corning Glass Museum.

Great family stay

My spouse and 7 year old and myself found this property very welcoming. The pool was spotless and we had even said wow with these trees tgats a lot of work. We enjoyed swimming and meals outside. The backyard is up a small hill but worth the calf work out. We played bad mitten and had great fires with the space my son loves to use to just run... constantly. We wouldve taken the kayaks out but u fortunately drove my xar instead of our truck... and walking across the street though really 300 yards isnt a lot. Its enough if youre carrying them haha. Overall pleasant place that our family enjoyed for a weekend get away.

Great option in the area

This is a great option in the area for groups with or without kids. Multiple bedrooms, all with air conditioning, was a must for us during our June trip with two kids under 3. The owners must have kids or grandkids as there were various toys and a play area—a huge bonus for us. They are stowed away nicely if you do not have children in your group. Since we stayed for over a week, it was great to have a full sized kitchen and living area, as well as a washer/dryer in the mud room. Much appreciated for our trip to see family in the area.

Great Family Rental!

Owners were great to work with - very accommodating and had lots of information regarding activities in the area. The house was spotless ! The pool is brand new and a pleasure to swim in. There were acres and acres to explore! We will definitely use this rental again !

Would highly recommend!

My family and I wanted to get away for a few days and I found this property. I cannot say enough about how great of a time we had. The pool and deck was an absolute hit for my kids and myself ! It has lounge chairs and an outdoor couch! Perfect for reading time for myself and playing with the kids ! The property was huge - it has kayaks for us to take out as well as a pit to do s’mores. The house was super clean and beautiful! If you are looking for a place to be able to get away and unplug I would recommend this property! We will def be repeat customers! My family and I had such an amazing time and the host was wonderful!

Perfect Experience!

I had booked this for the wildlife experience for my girls. It was even better than I anticipated. The house was clean and welcoming. The pool was stunning and well taken care of. We even saw deer during my morning coffee which was pretty cool. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we will book again!

Absolutely stunning

Our stay was absolutely stunning. The property is so clean and well taken care of. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. My kids felt very comfortable and right at home. We will absolutely book again!
