The photos of this property are amazing, and we enjoyed seeing the results of a major renovation of a residential home. Inspiring! The host was very helpful in assisting us with the proper steps to activate the shower head after using the handheld sprayer. There is a lovely pour-over coffee pot.

My sisters and I stayed for the weekend. What a beautiful place - it was near a gorgeous little walking path and close to a small family grocery store when we discovered that we needed a few things. The house is lovely and the host was extremely friendly and responsive when we had a couple of questions. Would stay here again.

Yard needs a fence to block out weird area stuff. All windows need solid curtains, neighbors motion light is airport bright. Did not like the idea that we reported a leaking ac before the host came by and dropped some trash bags on the front step without even knocking to address it. Simply said to shut it off and 1 unit would cool the house. Luckily it wasn’t July.

The house is beautiful and easy to find with Google Maps. Ana Maria answered all our questions right away. I chose this property because of the uniqueness of it and its proximity to both Corning and Watkins Glen. We only had one full day in the area so we had to make it count. The only downside - the backyard wasn't really usable and the weather was nice for sitting out.

Great space for a quick weekend trip. Travelled with 2 teenager's, we each had our our space to sleep. 2 bathrooms, and a space to hangout together. Would absolutely recommend

Well decorated barn home was a good central home base for a long weekend of short trips in the Finger Lakes region. It was clean with plenty of bathroom amenities. Easy communication with the host, who was very responsive when we contacted her.

Host was very responsive to questions and easy to work with. Easy to get to, quiet neighborhood. The open floor plan gave it a fun feel but not any privacy for changing clothes without going into a bathroom. Overall good experience.

This is a real gem in a very good location. It's easily accessable to Watkin's Glen. Ithaca and Letchworth Falls are drivable, so day tripping is very easy. The town of Corning next door has lots of great options for night time and eating out as well as some first class museums. The place had a plethera of vistor guides for the area. The house is very nicely appointed and comfortable, spacious for a couple. It's all one space with two beds in a loft area and a third on the ground floor. Lots of windows. The yard needs some work which they seem to be doing, installing a fence when we were there. The neighborhood looks a little worn but was very quiet and we had no issues. It's lots a smaller homes in small streets, some in a little disrepair, others being fixed up, possibly to be rented to tourists. We had a few minor issues. The coffee maker was a European style drip carafe that took a long time to brew a cup or two. Would have prefered a regular cofffee maker as my wife and I usually have two cups in the morning. The TV uses Amazon Fire and was very confusing to use compared to other places we've stayed. Usually, we are able to just sign into our own accounts but couldn't find a way to do that here without creating a Fire User. In the end we just gave up and watched what we could find on Prime. I would suggest that the owner create a house guide that explains the features of the house. We would definately consider staying here again.

We only live 10 minutes away but needed a little getaway before baby #3 arrives, this location was perfect. We loved the natural lighting, heated floors in the bathrooms, and the tub to soak in.

Perfect place to stay

My husband and I were in town for the New York state wildlife conference. This location was absolutely perfect. It was a quiet location with very comfortable accommodations. Our host was quick to respond to any of our correspondence. The location was very convenient for us to go back and forth to the conference and it was also close to the glass museum.

I wish I had understood that the two bedrooms were open to the first floor and open to the hallway. That is, the two bedrooms had three walls, and the fourth “wall” was the railing shown in the listing. The property is very nicely decorated, comfortable, all is up to date, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped.

Thank you for your feedback, I’m truly glad to hear you enjoyed the décor, comfort, and especially the well-equipped kitchen — we’ve put a lot of thought into making the space welcoming and functional for our guests. That said, I was surprised by the 3-star rating, especially since your comments were largely positive. We make every effort to be transparent in the listing — both in the description and in the photos — about the open layout of the upstairs bedrooms. Many guests actually enjoy the unique loft-style design, but we understand it’s not for everyone. We always welcome constructive feedback, and I appreciate you staying with us. I hope overall you had a pleasant experience.
