Elk Prairie Retreat near Rialto Beach by OCR

Come create lasting memories of the Olympic Coast at our brand new, Elk Prairie Retreat. This 4-bed 4-bath single level house is the perfect getaway for a large family or group of friends looking to explore the Olympic Peninsula! With an open floor plan, lots of seating, WiFi, washer & dryer, A/C in every room, & five smart TVs to stream your favorite shows and we are only 10 min to Rialto. Our aim is to provide everything you’ll need to create a home away from home!

Spend your days discovering the natural beauty of the Olympic Coast before heading back to Elk Prairie Retreat. The open floor plan allows you to prepare family meals in the full kitchen or grill outside on the gas BBQ, sit down for dinner at the large wooden dining table with space for 10, and swap stories of the day's adventures as you cozy up in the giant sectional in the living room. The well-equipped kitchen features a full suite of appliances, quartz countertops, and plenty of counter space. A separate coffee bar area allows you to brew up a pot of drip coffee, warm up water in the electric kettle and chill your soda or wine in the beverage cooler. When it's time to turn in, you've got four bedrooms to choose from, three with king beds and one with two queen beds. Closets have shelving, hangers and custom built in luggage shelves. All three ensuite bathrooms feature walk in showers with a built-in bench and the hall bathroom is set up with a deep tub. At the back entrance/mud room you will find a washing machine and two dryers.

You will be renting the whole house and yard. This is a pet-free, smoke-free home.

The house had an easy check in process and the property was as advertised. It was very spacious for our family of 5 and it was nice that everyone had their own bedroom and bath! We loved how well stocked the kitchen was with everything we needed to pack a lunch for our hikes in the park. Very conveniently located to the Mora beach area as well as Ruby beach. We would recommend this house to friends!

The house was very well provisioned for all of our needs. It was nice to have a lot of space for our family to enjoy each others company but enough room for us to have privacy too. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house and all of the things there are to do in the area.

Wonderful vacation home

Elk Prairie Retreat was one of the best vacation home experiences we’ve had! Everything seemed new and fresh, the home was spotless, cozy and extremely well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. The layout of the home was great. Our family loved the giant sectional for movie nights and the large kitchen for preparing our meals. Ravae was very friendly and communicative. We hope to have a chance to return and explore even more of the rainforest and beaches!

Spacious, comfy & minutes from the ocean!

"The Blue House", as it had been affectionately dubbed by my three-year-old is a spacious, comfy gem; minutes from the ocean; nestled among old growth trees; and kitted out with every possible modern convenience. As if the allure of a pacific coast rural hideaway wasn't reason enough to sty here, the owner has ensured every modern convenience for the family; TVs in every room with Disney and Netflix for the kids; fully outfitted kitchen; etc. The attention to detail was not unnoticed either: beautiful silverware, the nicest fridge and dishwasher you've ever used; even floss was available in little glass beakers. This was classy all the way. One of our best VRBO experiences

Have fun in Forks!

Our family spent 4 days at this property and enjoyed everything about it. We appreciated the clear communication with owners/property management. Checkin was a breeze; and we received multiple emails during the stay to see if we had any concerns.The location of this property is about 10 minutes outside of Forks, right on the way to Rialto Beach/La Push, which was a perfect location for our family. You are in a rural area, which we appreciated. As a family of 6, it is often hard for us to find a home that fits our needs. The property has been renovated recently, and we loved the large family room and massive couch, as well as 4 large bedrooms-3 with their own private bath. My wife took pictures of the "coffee nook" as she now wants one in our future home.We had an item left behind at the property and were notified the same day. Ravae and the team mailed the item back to us with no hassle, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, fantastic stay and we plan to return!

Lovely long weekend

We had 8 adults in our party who are lifelong friends. We love to travel together, cook amazing meals, explore the area, and just hang out. This was the perfect place to do all of those things. Very well equipped kitchen, enough space to spread out and plenty of seating for everyone. The beaches and hikes in the area are amazing too!

Modern house on the edge of forks

Modern clean house on the edge of Forks - near the beach. House was very well stocked and had modern appliances. Good amount of space for everyone. The AC and showers all worked nicely. It is in a remote area, but still a convenient spot.

Better Than The Listing

When you arrive at your rental, the moment has come when find out if what you booked matches the listing. While the Elk Prairie Retreat looks modest from the outside, once you open the door, it exceeds expectations. It is the perfect family or multi-couple vacation house! Of the four bedrooms, three have an en suite bathroom and the fourth has the bathroom right outside the door. The kitchen is large and well stocked and the living space has a mammoth TV as well as the largest sectional I’ve ever seen. Conveniently located near Rialto Beach, the entire area is fairly rural. Even in Forks you are hard pressed to find a restaurant that has table service. But the Elk Prairie Retreat exceeds expectations. A winner. Book it!

The perfect stay

Traveling to PNW/ONP with two teens, we had more than enough room in this beautiful, clean house! Huge kitchen and living area, and en suite baths with almost all the bedrooms. Impeccably clean and well curated (spices, treats, etc) Thank you for such a comfortable stay. Close to Forks and many ONP hikes/locations. We are particular about our VRBO’s and this was one of the best.

Olympic Hike

The property is worth considering if you are traveling to the area. The property Owner is extremely helpful with local information and the house was well appointed with extras, clean and overall, a great location to spend a quiet weekend near the coast. Highly recommended!

Great location- super clean house

Loved this house! Location is awesome - close to coastal park of Olympic park and not far from Hoh rainforest. Great for multi families with lots of space. Host was awesome, her guide is really helpful.

Amazing home near Olympic National Park beaches

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. Ravae was kind, offered a ton of information about the home and the area and was very attentive to our needs. The kitchen was well-stocked, allowing us to prepare meals for our group. We enjoyed fans and air-conditioning in all of the rooms. The home was clean and nicely decorated. We loved the proximity to Forks, the Hoh Rainforest and beautiful beaches. We will definitely stay here again.

We (Aaron, Ravae and Maeley) are lucky to get to enjoy Forks six-months out of the year and are excited to share our home in the beautiful Olympic Peninsula with you. When we are not in Forks we are traveling for our fishing guide business, Angler’s Obsession (to Klickitat, WA and Key Largo, FL). Besides his love for fishing, Aaron is also a pretty a good photographer and you will find his photographs throughout the house (along with local photographer Mathew Nichols. Ravae loves to cook so the kitchen is equipped with all the necessities to make home cooked meals.

Forks is such a majestic place. We were drawn here by the fish (Winter Steelhead) and fell in love with the area and community.
