Have a fun filled vacation even when it´s raining. You will love the amenities this place has to offer.
Spend rainy days in the bar / game room, play pool or shuffleboard, come up with cocktails or have some fun at the arcade games.
Relax in the hot tub after a long day of exploring Olympic National Park, grill some steaks on the Weber BBQ and make S´mores over the log fire pit in the backyard.
More bougie? Have a glass of wine at the gas fire pit on the back porch.
Have a coffee in the morning on the front porch in the rocking chairs, watch the sun come up behind the mountains and plan your day. You´re on vacation!

You will have good Internet provided by Starlink for work, Zoom calls, gaming or streaming (download 36 Mbps, upload 10 Mbps; there is nothing faster out here in the sticks ;o))

Need more room? Rent the adjacent property (The Wild West Coast Getaway) as well to have up to 14 guests in total, in case you are looking for a place to stay for a larger group.

Our place is located conveniently in the town of Forks with shops and restaurants. You will be able to go to the Hoh Rainforest, Ruby Beach, La Push, Rialto Beach and to the waterfalls without having to drive for too long.
Enjoy all the beauty Olympic National Park has to offer and come home to a luxurious, comfy home away from home to give you the perfect vacation that we all deserve once in a while...
Disclosure: We have a doorbell camera and a camera to monitor the Eastern part of the backyard that is not used to defer trespassers; no cameras inside the house, no cameras towards the back patios / hot tub! You have 100% privacy!

Wonderful house, comfortable rooms and beds, great kitchen, private and peaceful back porch. We loved the game room and the hot tub and grill. Close to town and La Push area beaches as well as the Hoh Rain forest. It was a great place to stay and the owner and property manager were very proactive.

Couldn’t have had a more perfect location for our annual college friend get together. Ideal home base to explore and adventure by day, and then come back to relax and unwind each night! The host thought of everything possible. We can’t speak highly enough about this spot! We will be back!!!

It is comfortable, well laid out and a lovely home! The games room was very cool and the hot tub was a favorite! Sometimes places listed as fitting a large group don’t always have a lot of hang out space but this place does!

This place was great! So clean, spacious and well appointed. Our family loved the hot tub after a day of hiking and enjoyed the game room too! Don’t hesitate to book this place!

The house was great. Dishwasher was being replaced so we were compensated for it. The power went out on our last day. Good thing we were heading home.

This is a beautiful home and was perfect for our family getaway! The game room was a huge hit. It was beautifully furnished and super comfortable. We loved using this as our base camp to explore Olympic National Park and already can’t wait to go back!

Great stay

We wanted to visit the Olympic National Forest with two families that included 3 kids, ages 11 to 14. The house was spacious, plenty of sleeping space, great kitchen, super comfy sofas, and just a perfect setting. There were lots of games and activities in the house for our kiddos great big yard with little trails. Sherry's house was a great place for our big group!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend

We stayed at this property the weekend our oldest got married at a local wedding venue. This home was so perfect for our adult children and their partners. So much fun in the game room. The kitchen had everything we needed. And the towels were plenty!! You thought of everything for our weekend! Thank you!! Totally would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at the Rainforest Getaway. The house was very clean and well-stocked with cooking utensils, towels, books, games, etc. Our kids loved the game room and hot tub. The beds were SO comfy. Cordula and the local property manager, Sherry, were incredibly kind and responsive. 5 stars!

This house was better than we could have imagined! Very spacious, the game room was a great retreat for the kids, the house felt like home away from home. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed visiting the creek, grilling on the back deck, and watching the Elk that visited every night. We all wanted to stay longer because we were so comfortable!

This house is a true gem in Forks, WA. It's truly apparent that the homeowner invested a great deal of time and care in transforming this house into a home. The plentiful amenities truly made us feel right at home. Beyond that, the house itself was wonderfully clean, boasting big rooms and ample space to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The decor created an immersive national parks experience, with unique touches throughout. The game room is awesome—the kids loved the basketball game and shuffleboard, and it was just as fun for us adults with its bar and restaurant-style booths complete with a TV for entertainment. However, the outside is where this place truly stole our hearts. During our stay, elk frequently camped out in the wooded areas, allowing us to enjoy watching them from the hot tub or the lounging area. To anyone booking, this house is in a prime location to explore Olympic National Park and all it has to offer—Rialto Beach is about 30 minutes away (a must-see), the Hoh Rainforest is about 30-45 minutes away, and Ruby Beach is about 50 minutes away. This home is also only about 3 minutes from the center of town, which offers a grocery store, cute shops, and lots of coffee options (shout out to Outfitters Grind!). We will absolutely be back to this incredible home!

Great Stay in Forks

The house was exactly as described. It was one of the cleanest houses we have stayed in. We were two couples and the layout suited us well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bathroom towels were nice and fluffy. As a tea drinker, I really appreciated the electric kettle. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit after days hiking in the National Park. The location was very convenient for Ruby Beach, The Hoh Rainforest and The Quinault Rainforest. Shirley, the property manager was easy to get in touch with when we had a very minor issue. We would come back and stay in a heartbeat. Thank you for the awesome time.

Amazing property!

Everyone in our family agrees this house was amazing! The pictures are accurate and the game room was the perfect addition. The hot tub was great and clean and we enjoyed walking down the path to the stream. We appreciated all the tips and the labels and instructions!

Perfect family vacation house

What a wonderful house! My family (4 adults, 3 kids) stayed here while visiting Olympic NP, and this house was a perfect getaway. Everything you might need is provided, all of it was organized, clean and comfortable. Lots of space for everyone. Plenty of entertainment between the game room, hot tub, book and board game options, and the large backyard! Check-in and out, and communication with the host was all very easy. It is also located close to the grocery store, and lots of the national park areas. We have stayed in a number of rental houses and we all agreed this house has been our favorite!

Great getaway

While we had bit of an accident before this trip totally unrelated to the vacation rental, we decided to still make the best of it and came out to stay in the rainforest getaway. The homeowner had seriously thought of everything. Well organized, labeled, and rooms were so cozy. We enjoyed our trip and had a great time. Would 100% return.

Great house

We really enjoyed the house and rec room. It was really raining the first day (as it does) and we had a lot of fun playing the games in the garage. The beds were comfortable, and I was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. Forks is a working town, so if you're a shopper you'll probably find it lacking. The outdoor experience is top-notched, though. I highly recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful open-concept home, perfect for a family or two. The game room had a variety of activities for the kids when us parents just wanted to relax. Hot tub was a great end to the evening. Quiet neighborhood, very peaceful.

Great Home Base For an Adventure

Our trip to Forks was definitely an adventure. While driving there I received a text from the property manager letting me know there was 6 - 8" of snow on the ground and the power was out. She offered to contact the owner regarding a refund. I called her and told her that we were still coming as we had fishing commitments. We got to the house and, yep, the power was out. That's OK. we're steelhead fishermen so we know how to deal with cold. Upon entering, I was surprised how warm it still was in the house being it has electric heat. Someone did a pretty good job of insulating it when they built it. We offloaded and settled in for the night. The gas grill on the back porch allowed us to still cook a nice hot meal. The property manager had also left several battery operated lanterns out for us so we had light. A little later we decided to go to bed before it got too cold in the house. The power came back on somewhere around 1:30 the next morning... Yay!!!This is a pretty cool house. Big living room area, nice kitchen and a 3 car garage converted to a game room.Pool, Foosball, Basketball, Shuffleboard and a couple stand up arcade games. The property manager, Sherry, was extremely responsive the whole time we were there.My only complaint would be the beds. Could definitely use some better mattresses. Other than that it was a fantastic stay in a beautiful part of the world. I would recommend, unless you have a hard time sleeping on a bed that is not very comfortable.

Hi, nice to meet you! My name is Cordula. I fell in love with the beauty of Olympic National Park many years ago, and I fell hard. It is just so breathtakingly beautiful! I have four beautiful kids (all in college or high school by now), a very cute, but not so well-behaved dog and two cats. If I could, I would spend the rest of my life hiking every day, but I work as a flight attendant, so that has to wait. My goal is to hike every single train in Olympic NP and to try every restaurant on the Olympic peninsula. Always gotta have goals, right? ;o)

I love our peaceful, residential neighborhood where neighbors still wave at each other when they pass by in their car. The house has great privacy, but is still close to all the amenities in town and you will feel remote, yet completely safe and secure.

My goal is to have my guests be relaxed as soon as they enter through the front door. When I go on vacation myself, I need a clean place that feels comfy and like a home away from home. So, this is what I am trying to provide to my guests.

The house is decorated with the Pacific Northwest style in mind and features artwork from local artists.

I love comfy beds, a clean, well stocked kitchen, lots of books, cozy couches with tons of blankets and having a fire going, whether it´s in the fire pit in the back yard, the gas fire pit on the back porch or the two electrical fire places in the house.
I hope my guests feel the same way!
My place has something to offer to everyone, and I especially tried to give my guests something to do on those rainy days that will inevitably occur once in a while in Forks...
