The road did get roughed up a bit after the recent heavy rain. Since it’s a privately maintained gravel road, all of us who live along it chip in to keep it in good shape. We’re already in the process of getting it smoothed back out, and it should be better again soon. Gravel roads in this part of Georgia can feel a little bumpy after storms, but they’re safe to travel and part of the mountain experience out here. The shower setup is part of the original lower level, some guests love the cast iron tub, other guests not so much. I'm sorry you were disappointed that the house was not right on the river. The listing description and the confirmation message both mention that the riverside deck is across the road and down the short wooded path.
