"ON THE WEEKI WACHEE RIVER" This is a one bedroom apartment ground floor of a two story home. There is a private entrance with a private garage. Enjoy kayaking, relaxing in the sun or under the covered cabana. This area is known as Florida's "Nature Coast". There are kayaks and kayak launch. provided and an outside gas grill. Come and enjoy the quiet. There are restaurants close by.

Although it was too cold for us to hit the water in the provided kayaks, we went up to Three Sisters and saw manatees galore. The Deck, Sherman Hills golf course, and St. Anthony the Abbot were all a great part of our trip.

Great little getaway

Spent a couple weekend here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations provided everything we needed. It was great to be on the canal with kayaks and access to the river.

Great place! Kayaks to use to explore the beautiful canals and clear weekiwachi spring fed river. We saw manatee multiple times and a dolphin swam by once. We caught tons of crabs and catfish right off the dock in the back yard! We even caught scallops at a local beach park. Host does live above the apartment if that makes a difference to you. You even get a garage to park in. If you want traditional sandy beach and waves that is not what the shoreline of this part of Florida is like, but fishing and nature exploring is amazing! Aldi and Walmart are not too far and we prepared all our meals in the full kitchen with laundry machine and dishwasher.

Great getaway!

We had a great time! Hosts were very helpful and amenable to inquires. It was easy to load our kayaks off the dock and go paddle. We definitely recommend this spot!

Perfect for your week or weekend excursions.

Overall very pleasant study, lots of kayaks available and a great time on the river with a manatees, dolphins and the joy of beating on the crowds.

An absolute treat!

I can't speak highly enough about our stay here. My husband and I only spent two nights, but it was such a pleasant experience, we can't wait to return! Everything in the house (a ground level apartment that perfectly matched the photos) was immaculately clean and organized. It had such a fresh, inviting atmosphere -- my husband called it "a vibe" and we felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived. Our host made sure several amenities were stocked, and even though we brought our own goods, if we had forgotten anything they would have surely had us covered. Speaking of the host, she was extremely accommodating and delightful to speak with (even though we only spoke via text). It was clear that us having a relaxing and calm visit was a priority and she offered us a late checkout that we wish we could have taken, but we had to get home!The river canals are beautiful and offer a lot to see without even navigating the main river -- we sat and watched a Great Blue Heron sun its feathers on the neighbor's deck for over an hour, ducks and ibis were also about, and fish jumped from the river every so often. A paddleboarder asked if we had just seen the manatee swim upstream, but we'd been so enamored with other things that we missed it! Weeki Wachee River is such a gem, one of my favorite places in the whole country. I felt like we hit the jackpot with this rental, and I highly highly recommend it and cannot wait to come back.

Quiet getaway

We had a great time! The apartment had everything we needed. There was a selection of kayaks and a nice patio. We had dinner outside just listening to the quiet and watching for fish to jump.

Beautiful property

I will recommend this place to my friends if they will be in the area. The check in was easy, the owner provided coffee etc that we didn’t expect, the place is nice and clean. The only thing we didn’t like was the bed. It was not comfortable. But everything else is great.

Great property

My husband and I stayed for 5 days. The property was clean and comfortable. We appreciated the kayaks for use with the property. There was an issue with the power in the kitchen when we first arrived but it was quickly resolved. We enjoyed the Weeki Wachee area very much!

Relaxation was our goal

The plan was to kayak but Mother Nature had other plans at least for our liking when it comes to the temperature but everything was there provided for us to go very nice little apartment like atmosphere with very nice walk out to the cove

A great spot on the water!

Cozy apartment on a canal with a short paddle out to the Weeki Wachee River. Tandem and single kayaks are provided. We paddled to the headwaters and back about 13 miles from the dock at the apartment. The apartment is small, but well laid out with guest's needs thoughtfully provided for.

Needed a nice place to meet for superbowl

The pace is fantastic, fully equipped kitchen, very clean. Owners live in the same house and were wonderful. I own a VRBO and found gem close by as mine was rented. This is my go to alternative if available in the future.

Perfect weekend get away

This was the perfect location for a long weekend get-away. This clean and cozy apartment is right on the river with kyacks provided making it easy to enjoy all that Weeki Wachee has to offer. The hosts were quick with communication and very sweet.
