Located just walking distance from Stagecoach Lift at Heavenly, 10 minutes from Heavenly Village, and right along the Tahoe Rim Trail. Outfitted with all of the modern comforts, Burnside Retreat will feel like Tahome.

For the good:Host is welcoming. Great location for older kids that can ski in/ ski out at the Stagecoach. Had almost everything we needed cooking wise. Lots of hot water and plenty of space for the 4 of us. Lots of parking. Quiet area. Not so great: The dining stools are not safe. One is bent very badly and another is super shaky. The towels are musky. We tried to wash them but the smell is ingrained in the towels.

Nick was very helpful answering all the questions. Unfortunately the nature was against us so we didn't get to enjoy the walk to the sky lift during our stay but the family still had a great time.

Great stay!

Everything was well equipped. (Am immersion blender would have been nice). Wi fi good. TV volume was too low and could not adjust. Few lightbulbs missing. A broken dining chair. Just a few helpful hints. Overall, our stay was great.

Stagecoach Condo

Stagecoach Condo was perfect! Plenty of room for 6 adults. 2 Bedrooms down stairs and Master in the loft. The condo was super clean and bedding super comfortable. The condo is close to casinos and shopping. We definitely will be back.

Beautiful cozy property in the center of Lake Tahoe

its a small but perfect property for a family of 6 and a dog. the view of the valley from inside was amazing, especially when it snowed! had all the amenities. Nick was very responsive to my questions (If I would have read the instructions properly, I would not have had to bother him :-)). Would come back again for sure.

Best Thanksgiving ever.

We had the such a great time making memories with our little family of four. The place was so cute and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. Loved this place so much we have decided to make our trip to South Lake Tahoe and new family tradition for Thanksgiving.

Beautiful Snowy Weekend

This was the perfect stay for our family. Being away from town was great for our boys to run around and sled, plus our dogs could explore. The place was cozy and warm and we loved that there were 2 rooms, plus the loft, and 2 bathrooms. It was great for our family of 4. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the snow fall. The house had everything we needed. We loved the cozy loft too, and we all cuddled up on the bed to watch movies at night. The place was super clean and welcoming. The hosts were great to work with and were super friendly and helpful with all our questions. We can't wait to come back next winter. We had the best time as a family!

Highly recommend

Stayed with my family and Grandchild for soccer tournament. Very clean with all the amenities anyone would want. Close to the fun of S. Lake Tahoe as described. Would stay again!

Nana came to town

We live in California and my mom was visiting from South Carolina. We wanted to show her Lake Tahoe. This place was settled in the mountains by the ski lift. It was about 13 minutes to the beach. The home had everything we could need. Towels, games, lunchbox, shampoo, conditioner, the list goes on! We liked the fact it had a washer and a dryer too. You could literally jump in your car with just a suitcase of clothes and you would be prepared! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Good Times, Great Place

Our stay was great, everything went smooth, didn't need any communication about anything with the host which is always a good sign. The place was easy to find, quiet and clean. It's a cozy place and the loft style master bedroom is pretty cool.

Great stay

Overall, the property was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is great, and the property is well taken care of. The only downside was that it was pretty warm inside and it was unclear whether the air was working or not. I imagine this would be more uncomfortable in warmer months. Thank you for the stay!

We LOVED our stay! Directions were very clear and host was hospitable. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful space. (Ps make sure to shut the loft blinds before heading to bed if you don’t like to be awoken from the sun)

Good value close to Stateline/Heavenly Resort

My family and I felt the property was a good value. Three beds (2 full private bedrooms and upstairs master/open loft). The outside of the units are a little dated and could use some TLC (paint, dry rot, loose step boards (not unsafe, I believe). If you were going peak ski season, it's a short walk to the Stagecoach lift and shuttle area which was very convenient. The condo had all the items you would need and was clean and well furnished. Again, the units are a little older but overall, we were comfortable. The only real issue we had was that the fan blew 24/7 on the fireplace unit. It wasn't a problem for me during the evening with a closed bedroom door but was a problem for the person sleeping upstairs since they were able to hear it all night. Was an issue when trying to watch television and not annoy any neighbors with the tv volume to compensate. Was told it had just been rewired so not sure if there was a slight error in how it was put back together. Hoping by now it would no longer be an issue but wanted to be transparent in the review. Again, easy check in, good communication, and clean: Good value for the stay. I wouldn't mind staying there again but the 'elders' found the few minute, curvy drive a little much. It's a short enough drive into Stateline but it wasn't a problem for me. Thanks!

Lovely condo right next to Heavenly

My husband and I enjoyed the condo very much! It was exactly as presented, clean, and quiet. I personally don't care for foam mattresses, and I slept poorly and awoke with a sore back, but my husband slept like a baby, so it may just be me! Nick was very helpful and responsive, and I would highly recommend renting this unit.

Overall nice experience, short walking distance to Stagecoach lift at Heavenly. Place was clean, fully stocked kitchen, great communication with owner. The only misleading fact was the pool and hot tub were down the street. Shared facility. That was a bit of a bummer.

Cute condo, great location for skiing

The condo was very cute and well equipped. The bedding was SO comfortable! Location is fantastic to take the lift up the back of heavenly.

Perfect for a ski trip!

This condo is the perfect location for a ski trip at Heavenly. This place is walking distance from the Nevada side parking lot and ski lifts. The bathrooms were both stocked and the place had more than enough room for 6 people. Loved the touch with the board games and snacks/coffee!

My wife and I love being able to host those who are coming to visit the gorgeous Lake Tahoe. Home to year round adventure. We have established a life here and we want others to come enjoy everything Tahoe has to offer.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

Burnside Retreat is located at the base of Stagecoach ski lift. My wife and I are avid snowboarders and wanted to enjoy the close proximity. It is also steps away from the Tahoe Rim Trail where you can hike for miles in the Sierra Mountains. This quiet neighborhood is the perfect escape, but close enough to South Lake Tahoe and Stateline where there are concerts, festivals, farmer's markets, restaurants, breweries, casinos and much more!

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We are on a mountain ridge and can see both Nevada and California from this neighborhood. Our condo is designed for comfort and relaxation for couples, families, and friends.
