Come to Camelot in Ocean Pines! Jumpstart your ultimate beach getaway at this impressive 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat house! Complete with amenity-packed living spaces and a serene location, you’ll never hunger for entertainment at this family friendly home. Grill out on the patio, roast marshmallows by the fire pit, tee off at a nearby golf course, or enjoy some retail therapy at Outlets Ocean City!
The house is located on a quiet street off of Ocean Parkway. It's on a peaceful and serene wooded lot. It's located in the amenity-rich South Gate section of Ocean Pines .There are families and older couples that live on this street - some neighbors live here full time and some part time. There is a driveway with room for two large cars.
Camelot is 5 miles from the beach. There is a Food Lion / Dunkin Donuts / Rite Aid about a mile from the house across the street from the entrance of South Gate. There are restaurants right here in Ocean Pines as well.
Our favorite place to go during the summer is the 49th St OP Beach Club in Ocean City (only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The OP Beach Club has a pool you can use for a daily fee. There's also a bar and restaurant here - really good fries and orange crushes. Then you can walk down to the beach from here. And parking is free as long as you bring the beach parking pass that's on the side of the fridge (summer only).
There are several pools associated with Ocean Pines that require a per person daily fee to use:
- Sports Core Core - INDOOR POOL OPEN ALL YEAR - 1114 Cathell Rd, Ocean Pines, MD - 5 minute drive
- Ocean Pines Beach Club Pool - OUTDOOR POOL SUMMER ONLY 49th St, Ocean City, MD - 12 minute drive depending on traffic (USE THE PARKING PASS FOR THE LOT)
- Yacht Club Pool - OUTDOOR POOL SUMMER ONLY - 1 Mumford Landing Rd, Ocean Pines, MD - 5 minute drive
- Mumford's Landing Pool - OUTDOOR POOL SUMMER ONLY - 7351 Yacht Club Drive, Ocean Pines - 5 minute drive (The Yacht Club and Mumford's Landing pools next to each other. Mumford's Landing has more kids vs. the Yacht Club which is mostly adults but kids are welcome.)

There is an amazing park down at the Ocean Pines Community Center (5 minute drive).
There is also a small park with a basketball court within walking distance to the house. They just built it last year! I send my kids down there (mine are 13 and 10). My daughter could play down there all day.
