Lovely Visit to Lopez Island!

Very beautiful and serene island. Very friendly community. Enjoyed delicious coffee at Isabel's Espresso. We'll be back to visit again.

Weekend getaway

Clean, comfortably cottage with ample parking! Appreciated the Lopez Island map with check in! The owner was able to provide two roll away beds to accommodate our children. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful cottage in perfect location

My spouse and I stayed here with our two kids, 2yr and 5mo, and it was great. There’s a walk in closet in the bedroom which fits the cot so we were able to have our 2yr old sleep in a bit of a separate space which felt cozy to her. Our 5mo old slept in the pack n play in the main space which also worked well. We were in walking distance to everything in town and the host was very communicative and approachable. We could park our car right in front of the private gate and the area was very quiet at night. We even caught the northern lights during our stay! Easy check in and check out process as well. Would happily stay here again.

Small and excellent

Great location! We’ve stayed at a number of places on Lopez in the past. None had a better bed! And the shower was terrific! Highly recommend!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

My husband, toddler, and I had a wonderful, comfortable two-night stay at the cottage. Location in town was perfect for walking around and enjoying the area. Perfect that we could park right outside. The cottage was clean and as described. Full kitchen was super convenient and our hosts provided great tips for exploring the area. Our daughter stayed on the fold out cot in the walk-in closet area. Would definitely book again!

Nice for our short family stay on Lopez

Cozy and clean cottage right in the heart of town. Quick walk to the grocery store and local restaurants. Very comfortable and our kids used the provided cots for sleeping in the living room area. The cots were easy take out and put away. Did it a little bit of cooking and the kitchen basics were provided. Host was always very responsive. Would recommend this cottage!

Perfect getaway

This is a sweet beautiful cottage right in the village. It was a perfect home base for us to visit our favorite spots on the island. Very quiet and within walking distance of the bakery, multiple coffee spots, an amazing pizza truck and the grocery store. There was plenty of room to set up a full size aerobed. As sisters we would share a room but one of us snores. :) Very clean and has an amazing shower. Highly recommend.

Nice cottage in Lopez Village

Really cute cottage with everything you need for a stay of a few days or weeks. In town, so it’s an easy walk to the store, coffee, Fisherman’s Bay. It was below freezing when I was there. Anthony brought me extra blankets to stay warm! The cottage is heated, just took time to warm up fully.

The cottage was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I stayed here during a work trip but I would happily stay here again for a Lopez Island vacation.

Perfect Place

Our first visit to Lopez couldn't have started better when we checked into the Garden Cottage. It's a lovely place, with a comfortable bed, clean as a whistle (key point for my wife, a clean freak), and a terrific location. Host Anthony couldn't have been more accomodating, and available whenever you need him. Located in the center or Lopez Village, you can walk to all the things you need--food, gifts, drinks, etc. Everyone is friendly, so much so that everyone waves to each other on the roads when you're driving. The cottage was perfect for 2, but anything over that would be a little cramped. Loved the updated bathroom, and the water pressure and rainfall shower head were amazing (and very unlike other parts of Lopez we were told). Kitchen was fully stocked with implements, and we cooked a mean there. We will be back for sure to visit our son again. And make sure you visit Vortex across the street. Great food and atmosphere.

Fantastic Cottage on Lopez Island

Our first visit to Lopez exceeded all expectations. The cottage and property were fantastic, the location was right next to Lopez Village and walking distance to the waterfront. Highly recommend it and will be coming back!

family trip

Our family of four -- two parents and kids age 10 and 12 -- really enjoyed this stay. Very charming cottage, in a very charming village, and the hosts were responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again. For it to be as positive for others, we would note: We found this is a search for 4-person stays; it worked for us only because our two kids were happy sleeping in cots in the walk-in closet and entry room, respectively. We had great weather -- if it had been a series of rainy days forcing us inside, the cottage would have felt very small. And the island is much less touristy than Orcas or San Juan -- which we loved! But it meant (for example) the only restaurants in town closed at 8:00, so if that isn't your cup of tea, you might want to look elsewhere.
