Yarmouth Cottage by the Bay

Adorable cottage with a beautiful water view! Two bedroom quintessential Cape Cod cottage is awaiting you! Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a spectacular view of Lewis Bay from the front bedroom, kitchen, dining room and the living room. Enjoy your coffee or cocktail from any of these rooms or outside lounging at pub table while watching the boats heading in and out of Hyannis Harbor. Better yet walk to the nearby beach for the sun and surf in less than 2 minutes.
The house was completely renovated in 2023. The inside has refinished hardwood floors, newly painted walls and ceilings, new windows, new kitchen and bathroom, new rugs and a new heating and central a/c. Although most days you will want to open the windows and enjoy the Cape Cod breeze!
The kitchen features a gorgeous wooden bar with seating for four and is completely stocked with a new electric stove, as well as new glassware, cookware, plates, utensils, and small appliances: microwave, coffeemaker and toaster. Grab a bite at the bar or sit down for a meal in the dining room.
The bathroom features a shower and a new toilet, vanity, and mirror.
The cottage has two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and a twin bed and the second bedroom has a queen bed and a 2-person love seat that pulls out to a twin bed, if you need the extra room. Both rooms have built in dressers and room darkening blinds and all the mattresses are brand new.
Brand new linens, blankets, comforters and towels are provided.
The spacious living room which comfortably seats 8 people, has a large television, high speed internet and the best view of Lewis Bay. In addition, there is a door between the dining room and living room which you can close if others are trying to sleep.
Outside you will find a gas grill, pub table, picnic table and patio chairs with a spacious front yard facing the Lewis Bay.
A two-minute walk brings you to the beach, where you will find the warmest water on the Cape! The beach is kid friendly as it gradually slopes, and it has a creek with minnows to chase, jetties to climb and plenty of space to run around. Be back at the cottage in 2-minutes to grab more snacks and sodas!
If you feel like exploring, take a right at the end of the street and a 5-minute walk will take you to find Bay View beach with swings for children. Right around the corner from here is the Hyannis Marina with gorgeous views of Hyannis Harbor and also where Tugboats is located, a restaurant with waterfront dining. Main Street Hyannis is only 1.5 miles away and the ferries to Nantucket and Marthas Vineyard are only a mile further.
Take a left at the end of the street and a mile away you will find Putters Paradise a mini-golf course with delicious sundaes and frappes! Immediately past Putters Paradise is Route 28. You can take Route 28, Route 6 or 6A and depending on the direction you choose your off to the explore Mid Cape, Lower Cape or Upper Cape!
