Legal Short Term Rental: NUC No. 90/TVU-0017 | TMK 1530080020018. Newly remodeled kitchen and bath in this condo with an ocean view and located on a beautiful beachfront that has the best snorkel and swimming beach protected by a reef, with lawn like carpet and a Sandy beach where you can swim with turtles or just sunbathe, kayak or snorkel. Beach chairs and umbrellas and snorkel equipment included along with a cooking kitchen and many pots and pans with large fridge and oven and stove and a free washer dryer and AC for your use and free parking. We just installed a bigger colder AC.

Condo has queen size bed and sleeper chair in front room and full bed in back room. Condo always uses new clean linens and bedspreads on the memory foam matreeses and pillows along with frequently updated brand new bath mats and towels and beach towels as well.

You’ll love this condo and its country location with all the charm Hawaii beachfront has to offer in this unique property with a perfect swimming beach with crystal clear waters where turtles breed and swim and walk around freely. Sometimes there are manta rays and monk seals. The bay is protected by a reef so no worries about predators from the sea. The unit is comfortable and quiet and clean and we make changes to improve the place regularly and make us better hosts. There’s a large grass area with swaying palm trees and the grass is like carpet with lawn chairs and picnic tables and umbrella tables too. It’s like heaven and we look forward to spending time there whenever we can and can’t wait to go back there ourselves as its our happy place. Also We have a new bigger AC as of today. The beachfront is paradise and the unit is clean and comfy.

Right on the beach, size was as advertised. Could use some better seating inside to watch tv in evenings. It was advertised as 2 bedroom which was fine; however that meant that the living room was a bedroom and there was no comfortable seating...there was a chair that was not very , another very uncomfortable chair, the kitchen stools, other wood chairs or the bed. There was some construction at the site so the pool was closed and they were doing septic work, causing parking disruption.

Thank you Mark we are happy to hear you enjoyed the property and wildlife and beauty of the beachfront. As for the furniture yes it may not be the most comfortable but the chair makes into a sleeper which some guests like and the other chair is a recliner and I am a smaller Lady so it fits me perfectly. Apologies if it didn’t suit you. Also it is a one bedroom as Advertised. The front room has the queen size bed. Also people can hear the ocean waves. We like this also. Thanks for choosing us and come again in the future.

Property has beach view and access. If you are 6’ ft the shower is short along with light in living area. The property has construction going on and parking is .2 miles away

Parking was 100 yards down the road and easily within walking distance and their was a drop off area while the work was being done. Please.

My almost 14 year old son and I stayed at Jan’s condo for a couple of nights on our trip to Oahu. I was looking for a place on the beach, with a pool, located conveniently to the North Shore and Honolulu and this place fit the bill perfectly! We were close to grocery/convenience stores (one walkable!), delicious food trucks (check out Aloha Shrimp) and coffee (props to Coffee Cove Hawai’i) and a short drive to Waimea Bay and Haleiwa. We enjoyed the pool and especially the beach - we even saw sea turtles swimming in the ocean! I slept on the queen bed in the main area and it was super comfortable; my son said his bed was good too (he slept for 12 hours our first night, it must have been!). The kitchen is well stocked and worked great for making dinner and breakfast while staying there. Jan is super friendly and responsive and if we ever make it back to the island, will visit her condo again!

The host was extremely responsive. We were even able to check in early, which was so nice after our long flight. The location was amazing and the condo was well equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed walking the beach each night and seeing turtles resting on the beach. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property

We got to see turtles and the property is conveniently located close to food trucks and is also somewhat isolated. Awesome beach walkable from the property and not too far from the Polynesian cultural center about a 10 min drive

Host was very responsive and helpful! Beach was great, space as advertised. Many items available to use! Only downside was that there is major construction being done on property. The noise starts early and there was a very large machine blocking most of the view to the beach. Nothing that the hosts could prevent though! Overall it was a great stay and location. Loved walking the beach every morning.

Generous hosts in a family home

We came for a funeral. They accommodated us quickly and helpfully. The home was clean and quaint. The descriptions were accurate. We’d stay here again. Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

Visit to the Polynesian cultural center

I love staying in this condo, Janet , the owner is always very accommodating. She responds quickly and she has done some work on the condo since the last time that I stayed this is my second day it’s quiet and it’s just a lovely place to stay. I will definitely be staying here again maybe even the summer if I can work it out.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Hawaii. The space was comfortable and well suited for a beach visit, with a good layout, a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and all the basic necessities.Communication with the owner was easy and responsive, though everything we needed was already provided. We also appreciated the thoughtful touch of coffee and a few items left by previous guests.One of the highlights was the wildlife. We saw large sea turtles every day coming up onto the beach, and they often swam nearby while we were snorkeling and swimming. We also saw several whales during our stay. Photos will be attached to our review.Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a nice condo and a nice place to stay for anyone visiting Hawaii.

Very demure. Very mindful

My husband and I stayed here as a home away from home away from home. Great location, quite literally on the beach, which was never crowded. Only con, was it was hot in the apartment. Other than that, we loved it.

Pio I'm so happy to hear you loved the beachfront property and wondering if you used the AC when needed? Also we usually sleep with lanai doors open and when we are there we open the front door also and allow a cross breeze and it's so nice. That along with the ceiling fan and we find it quite comfortable. The place is safe enough with 24 hour security to leave lanai door open as well and fan on.

Several items were broken upon arrival: the garbage disposal failed, the screen door was off its track, the dryer required manual water draining, and the AC exterior area was unsightly.Essential items were missing. We lacked towel/swimsuit hanging space (forbidden on the lanai), a proper table with four chairs, basic kitchenware (cups, a vegetable peeler, sharp knives), and pantry shelf space, forcing us to store food on counters.The space was dangerously cramped. My wife hit her head on a low-hanging frying pan, while my husband and son hit their heads on the low ceiling fan and had to duck in the shower.The property did not match the listing photos. The promised ocean view was blocked by two condos, sacrificing privacy to neighboring residents. The advertised wildlife (sea turtles/seals) was nowhere to be seen, deeply disappointing our 6-year-old.Despite following all rules, the host falsely claimed we "trashed the place," using a photo of a plate she broke to file a VRBO claim. We lost the parking permit but bought a replacement from security cheaply (not allowed to put value). The host still tried to charge us an absurd "fee". It was highly unprofessional and unpleasant.

This is absolutely not true. This guest was very mean and mentioned he hated the place after I complained about how filthy it was upon his exiting. He then began going on and on and then this review. None of it is true. There are so many turtles also and one year a few years back in Nov on a full moon I counted 24 on the beach and snapped a photo. If you don’t see tirtles You don’t know what they look like. They pop their heads out of the water all days long and are on the beach to a lot of the time. It’s ridiculous to say their aren’t any. It also says in the guest book and house rules not to use the garbage disposal. The washer dryer has an empty bin. Really sad if that was a chore that he didn’t like. Also ridiculous. They are obviously very tall and that’s not my fault. I did put a teak shower seat in the shower after he complained though for future really tall guests.

Turtles everyday

Older property and in good shape. The unit was a small one bedroom. It had a nice fully stocked kitchen and we didn't want for anything. Plenty of nice towels and beach towels along with beach toys, chairs and umbrella. Great ocean view from lani. Saw turtles everday. Great location.Quiet.

Fair Stay

It was difficult locating the lock box for the key. The parking lot is very broken down. The apartment was clean, but a bit dated. The television was on a piece of unleveled ply board. The closet was a mess and full of disorganized beach gear. The hot water wasn’t on so I had to take a cold shower! Later we located the circuit box on our own to turn the hot water on, thank GOD! I should have gotten a hotel room at the Marriott instead.

Stacie I’m sorry you felt that way the tv is on a piece of shelving piece so it fits on the marble top coffee table. I have to say we are also wondering why the hot water heater isn’t working we just are checking. We did a full electrical inspection just prior to your arrival and the electrician must have forgotten to turn on the switch in the box. I’m very happy that you turned it on. Apologies and if you would have notified me I could have amended it. But saying plywood makes it sound like…. Well what it’s not. It’s white shelving piece and no one complained but you and it doesn’t look bad. This is our home and we work very hard to make people comfortable and exceptionally clean and it’s not dated. The kitchen and bathroom were updated less than a year ago. I apologize the building is under a 15 million dollar renovation and the parking lot is unsightly but again most people Love the charm here and no one but you have complained. Again I’m happy you enjoyed your stay as it looks like you did when I entered. The closet is small and I straightened out the swim and surf gear and chairs in there with snorkel equipment before I left so I’m confused about your assessment. Maybe next time you should go to a hotel. Apologies you didn’t love it like most people. Next time please let the host know if you have a hot water issue as we would immediately take charge to fix it. Happy it was just the switch and you amended it.

Small condo unit

Very homey but the “bedroom” is basically a curtained off alcove with no window so it really shouldn’t be called a bedroom. Owner stated in the “rule book” that we were expected to “keep on top of “washing towels as this “takes the most of their time” when cleaning the unit. However, there was a limit of 2 loads every other day. In any case, I felt it was rude to demand we do laundry for towels supplied by the rental.

Aloha Gwen we are happy you like the place and the back bedroom is considered a bedroom by the state of Hawaii and on the condo docs it's listed as a one bedroom and there is a small window in the back. As for the towels...., most people don't mind doing a load of towels and they usually leave them in the dryer and are very happy to do so and if not that's ok too. In the house rules we kindly ask people to keep up with the laundry during their stay and especially the towels. It's just a request and most of the units at Pats do this. Some don't even allow washing more than two loads a week and don't supply the soap as we do. Apologies you were unhappy. We hope you have a safe trip home. Aloha again. Jan
