This cozy historic bookstore has been transformed into a chic 2 bedroom space for a unique Rockport experience! The vaulted ceilings and exposed beams are the perfect backdrop to this central gathering spot. A colorful kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need for meals. On one end of this living space you'll find the first bedroom. More high ceilings and exposed beams along with a large king sized mattress make this feel like a spacious retreat. We were so happy we stayed at The Library! As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed, comfortable - it was amazing! Definitely worth staying here. Our host, Rachel, was so helpful and friendly. Five Star all the way!

We had a wonderful week's stay in The Bookstore. It was a lovely unit, conveniently located to the main street of Rockport and so clean and tidy. There is a spacious parking lot easily accessible for several cars. The unit is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outfitted with anything you might need to cook meals, but you might be too tempted by the local restaurants to make too many meals. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the unit was very quiet. We slept better at The Bookstore than we do at home! Hope to return soon.

This is a lovely place to stay when visiting Rockport. It is easily accessed, has great parking, and is near (many of them are just walking distance away) the local shops and restaurants. The unit was spotless, the kitchen has all you need to make a meal, and the accommodations are very comfortable. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to relax and enjoy your stay in the area.

Lovely little home in great location, easy walk to Shalin Liu performance center, restaurants, beaches, and all the cute downtown shops. We parked the car in back and then walked almost everywhere. We took quick drives to Halibut Point (stunning always, but very cool to see the quarry frozen!), Wenham, and Gloucester. It was so nice to visit in the off season and this made a great home base for our girls’ weekend. The king size beds are super comfy, apartment well kitted out with laundry, dishwasher, 3 individual mini splits, coffee maker with coffee pods, etc. Easy to get in with custom keypad code. Excellent and kind communication. Appreciated the online guest guide. Rockport and the North Shore have so much to offer year-round and our March visit meant lots of shop sales and no crowds.

Cozy, clean, convenient!!Perfect mother/daughter getaway destination. Walkable to main road/beach, but we spent 1.5 days inside just watching TV, crafting, and snacking while it was a bit rainy. Would rent again!

Great location, easy parking and a 5-10 minute walk to Bearskin Neck, Front Beach, and pretty much anywhere in downtown Rockport that you want to go. Charming property and decor. Kitchen is great for breakfast/small meals. Thanks for the prompt response to some very minor requests during our stay. Would stay there again!

Fantastic location
This place was in a great location in Rockport and we could walk to everything in matter of minutes. Unit was so clean and extremely well stocked with everything. Having a washer and dryer was also a huge bonus. We’d definitely stay again .

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It has everything you would need for a very comfortable stay. Upon arriving, the apartment was spotless, roomy, and the beds are very comfortable.
