Cozy cabin with all the essentials, except coffee filters! The grade to get up the road is 13- so, be sure you have a vehicle that can climb! Close to many trailheads, hot tub is great, more stars in the sky than you can count.

Great place to stay but the upper deck really needs some attention I don’t think it is safe to be out on

Loved that it was pet friendly. It was quaint and clean. My biggest challenge is there was no WiFi, very minimal cell service and no TV reception. There is stack of 20-30 yr old DVDs which were ok. The house manual is a QR code to scan with your phone. But with no WiFi or cell service it’s very difficult to open. If your plan is to unplug all electronics this is the place for you.

We do clearly note in our listing that this property does not offer Wi-Fi, as it's a great option for guests looking to unplug and enjoy a peaceful getaway. Cell service can vary by carrier, though guests can typically receive around 2–3 bars of service at the cabin. We do appreciate your point about accessing the digital house guide without a reliable connection, which is one reason we send the cabin guide to guests as soon as they book with us in their inbox as well as text them in the morning so they have it and can feel prepared for their stay ahead of time. The cabin was perfect! I agree with many reviews that you do need a 4-wheel-drive vehicle to get there in the winter. Great location and close to all the great activities the Gorge has to offer!

The cabin was very clean, everything worked as it should. It had the basic supplies that you would need for cooking. Could have used a couple extra towels. The location was great, the area was quiet. Some nice walks right from the cabin. Would stay again.

It was really nice to just be able to walk up to the door put a personalized code in and walk in and really just not have to do anything else, but check out the place and rest. Great space for sharing time with family and also finding moments to be by yourself. This was my very first time in a log cabin, and I don't think it'll be my last.

Secluded

Very nice secluded cabin. Crater at the bottom of the entrance was a bit much. We had a great time and would love to come back!

We loved the location of this cabin. We enjoy all this area has to offer. We spent time in both Franklin and Highlands, and the drive to Highlands has to be one of the most beautiful in the United States. The cabin was comfortable and we had everything we needed. We came for fall color, and the view out the front window did not disappoint. We wanted to use the king bed and weren't particularly fond of the spiral staircase, but that was a minor inconvenience. We hope to stay here again!

Looking forward to going back

The cabin was perfect. It was super clean and adorable inside. It had everything you needed to enjoy your stay and was in such a convenient location. We had an SUV and the road still was a little tricky in places with giant holes but we managed. We will definitely be returning.

It was a relaxing stayThe downstairs bed mattress could stand to be replaced as well as the toaster and bath towels but overall it was peaceful and a nice cabin that fit four adults comfortablyWe would definitely choose that cabin again. Thank you

Great cabin

We enjoyed 5 days at this cabin which was spacious for the three of us. Hot tub was relaxing. Would’ve loved to have a fire, but the weather did not cooperate. Three short but adventurous hikes right out the back door!

Red River Gorge Getaway

Only kink was that housekeepers were about an hr behind other than that we had a nice relaxing stay....Would for sure stay here again though!!..🙂
