Beware of Mold!!! And it’s not a “Double Sofa Bed” it’s just a couch!

First impression was good as we got there at 1:45 am until we discovered the “double Sofa Bed” was really just a couch with a chaise in one end. It advertised “sleeps 4” but only if 2 people can fit on the couch. The vents in both the bathroom and living area had a good amount of mold on them which was disgusting. Then I discovered 3 nails sticking out of the floor in the threshold between the carpet and wood flooring coming from the bedroom that I caught my toe on, that hurt!! We had our 71/2 month pregnant daughter with us so between the mold and the uncomfortable sleeping arrangements we were there only 12 hours and had to go find lodging somewhere else. We contacted Nancy the host who I sent pictures of everything we complained about and she said the mold was paint coming off the vent. We are from Florida we know what mold looks like!! I had several emails with her, we told her we would pay for the first night but wanted to be refunded for next 4 nights as we would not be staying there because these issues. She has refused to refund me , we contacted VRBO twice who have been No help either so now I will be contacting my CC company to do a charge back. We have done stays before with no problems, this is just plain very bad customer service from both the host and VRBO!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

The apartment is in a great location just off 75 near all the places I frequent in Dallas. Near great shopping and great food. Nancy was very responsive and communication was so good. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot!

Our family of four had a wonderful time. The apartment was very cute and clean and It was perfect for us since we were just in for the weekend to see the Dallas Cowboys. One of my boys slept on the very cozy couch and my other son slept on the rollaway bed. Also very comfortable. Location was also perfect. We were within 15-20 minutes from everything if not less. Area was nice and the complex has a pool to enjoy during warm climate. Wish we could have used it but it was a chilly weekend. Communication with property manager was great as well. They were very responsive to our questions and needs. I would definitely recommend staying here. We will for sure be back next year for our next Cowboys game.
