Welcome to The Pacifica Inn located in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The Pacifica Inn is a special little place out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean where you can experience peacefulness and tranquility.
Come and enjoy the beautiful Hapu’u trees that surround the property. Relax and enjoy the sounds of endemic beautiful Hawaiian birds and their melodies while the Coqui frogs sing at night. Consider staying in one of our rooms at The Pacifica Inn. We don’t do luxury at The Pacifica Inn, we do Hawai’i!

The Pacifica Inn is located in the beautiful Mauna Loa Estates just one mile from the town of Volcano. In Volcano you will find restaurants and shops to enjoy during your stay. The Hawai’i National Park is only about five minutes away. This makes the Pacifica Inn a perfect location after a long day of experiencing the best of what Hawaii has to offer.
The Hilo International Airport is 40 minutes away and renting a vehicle is the best way for transportation around the Big Island.
The Pacifica Inn is located in Volcano which is in a high altitude of 4,000 feet.
Volcano is very tropical and lush rainforest and rain can fall at anytime during the day or night. Temperatures can get cold at night so we highly recommend you pack warm clothes along with your swimsuits. The water is not consumable and we recommend guests bring their own drinking water during their stay.
We appreciate your interest in The Pacifica Inn we look forward to being able to host you. This cozy one bedroom, one bathroom apartment features one queen bed, two twin beds, and a queen size futon, allowing to comfortably sleep 6 guests.

There is one adult size cot available holds up to 220 lbs. pounds with a mattress that is available upon request. The cot allows The Gecko Room to sleep 7.
Please let your host know that you will be needing the cot when you book or give your host at least 48 hour prior notice to your check in date.

Upon entering the place, you and your guest(s) will immediately step into the dining/kitchen area. There are 2 tables and a bar top that will seat a total of 6 guests.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make meals throughout your stay:
-New Two burner hot plate. No oven or stove in the room.
-Microwave
-Mini Fridge and mini freezer
-New Toaster
-Keurig/Coffee Pot (creamer, sugar and coffee pods and grounds)
-Pots & Pans + All the basic cooking necessities
-Dining Dishes
-Dish Soap and sponge
-Oils and seasonings for cooking
The full bathroom has all of your basic toiletry needs:
-Shampoo
-Conditioner
-Body Wash
-Hair Dryer/Located under the sink in the bathroom
-First Aid Kit
-Toilet Paper

After a long day, relax near the fireplace in the living room area. Cozy up on the couch with a warm fuzzy blanket and watch a movie on the 32-inch smart TV.

Wi-Fi and parking on the premises are free. Parking is limited to 1 vehicle per room rented. Parking is for guests only. There is no assigned parking. Visitors must park on the street. Due to Mauna Loa Estate community rules no overnight street parking.

Please note: This is a multi-unit property. There is a total of 2 buildings offering 4 units on site.
The house in the front has a large studio unit upstairs (The Volcano Room) and a 1 bedroom ( The Gecko Room) downstairs.
The trail leads to a back building with two units which are ( The Nene Room) and (The Hapu’u Room) which are side by side units.
