The Brown Bear Station is situated in a natural rural setting just beside Otter Lake. The Cabin offers a great combination of seclusion and access to multiple activities. Enjoy the relaxing sandy beach to go swimming, boating, jet skiing, and kayaking. Perhaps you rather hunt, snowmobile, hike, ORV, or fish. Spending the day shopping and antiquing. Brown Bear Station has it all for an ultimate year-round getaway.
This two-bedroom, one-bath cabin was originally a gas station and then a flower shop before becoming residential. It is a piece of history within the 150-year-old Village of Otter Lake. Tons of upgrades- AC, sleeps- 8 guests, spacious living area, and fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms & a bathroom with all the essential amenities. Yard games, firepit, picnic tables, beach stuff, & a deck for use.

Everything was clean and spacious. Tiffany stayed in contact and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend staying here. Highly recommend and will be back.

Tiffany was great with communication before and during our stay. Great cabin in a quiet town with a short drive to Frankenmuth. The cabin was clean and comfortable.

Very clean, organized, well stocked in kitchen and bathroom and bedroom needs. Great area, easily near (about 25 minutes) from Frankenmuth and lots of things to do there. Would stay there again if in area.

The cabin had everything available for daily needs such as extra blankets, games, spices, and much more. It was extremely clean and spacious. Neighborhood was quiet and had a good piece of mind.

Brown Bear Cottage

Wonderful stay! Everything was very clean, and a lot of nice touches (soap and shampoo/conditioner available, laundry soap, everything needed for a great stay). All of us had a great time.

A beautiful location that eases the mind while also keeping it at near-maximum entertainment. This place has just about everything you could want and need. Being on one of the main roads in town but also a minute and a half walk from the lake, it hits at just the right level of civilization and nature. A truly great place that all my friends and I said multiple times would be worth another future stay.

Felt like home away from home! Super cozy and spacious

Last minute decision as we needed some place quick. Stayed for 5 days. It was perfect. It had everything we needed and felt like home. It’s right by the lake and campground where there is a small beach, playground and a place to fish off the dock. Super easy to communicate with the owner and manager. We will be back!!!!!

Quiet and Relaxing

The property was perfect to relax and enjoy time with family after shopping and visiting local attractions. The town is very cute and owner of Jasper’s diner was very kind and welcoming. The food was amazing. We will definitely return.

Relaxing stay

We had a very relaxing weekend! Spent some time in Frankenmuth and appreciated having the cabin to come back to and relax after shopping. The store across the street is convenient for anything we may have forgotten to pack. The kitchen is well stocked! Thank you!

Home away from home!

We felt very comfortable in the cabin. Kitchen facilities were appreciated, beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed sitting on the porch during the evening. We wouldn’t hesitate returning.
